Casey's POV.

I am really confused.For some reason when I'm around Izzie I feel excited and it's really weird.I never feel like that with Evan and it scares me.It's probably just nothing.

Well here I am,sitting in a car with....you guessed it....Izzie.
"I can't believe we drove 4 towns away just to find a 7/11 that serves cotton candy slurpees".Said Izzie while I chuckled.

"I have no regerts".I replied to her and grinned.

We sat there in silence for a moment before I said,"So guess what",I paused for a moment while I looked at Izzie,"I had sex again".

Izzie said"With Evan?".I joked and said,"No,with myself.Still counts though,right".

Izzie giggled and said,"Shut up".

I took a sip from my slurpee and replied,"Yeah,with Evan",I paused for a second and said,"I really love him".

There was a moment of silence before Izzie said,"I know you do".

I replied and said,"It's just sometimes a thing feels like",I paused,"so right,you know".

There was an awkward silence and now I knew I should've never said that.Suddenly,I felt Izzie pinky touch mine,very slowly,she pulls her hand to mine and interwines our fingers.

A second later,I heard my phone ring and I picked it up,it was Evan.
My heart stopped for a moment before I pressed the decline button and put my phone down.

Then somebody texted me.

"Is everything okay?".Asked Izzie.
I replied,"It's Elsa.Hi honeybear,can you please pick up a fire extinguisher on the way home".

We looked at each other and laughed.
"Yeah so we should probably get going".I said.

"Yeah".Replied Izzie.

I put my seat belt on and waited for Izzie to put her's on.

"Let's go,honeybear".She smiled while she fastened her seat belt.

I cleared my throat and drove off.

1 month later.

I was sitting at my window when I get a text from someone.

Izzie:Hey.I'm back wanna go for a run?

Me:Sure.

I ran downstairs and looked in the mirror trying to fix my messy hair.

My dad came over and said,"The hell you doing,getting pretty for a run?".

I panicked and said,"Nothing.Shut up".And I ran out the door.

30 mintues later.

I met up with Izzie and we were running down the street.My stomache was filled with butterflies and I kept ocasanilly staring at her which she luckly didn't notice.

"It is so good to be back",breathed Izzie,catching me off guard since I was just thinking about her,"I love my aunt and uncal and Florida is nice but after a while I don't love them that much and Florida isn't that nice".

We giggled and I said,"I feel like I haven't seen you in forever".

Izzie replied with,"I know",she paused,"Since slurpee night".

"Yeah".I said and grinned.The memory filling my brain."That was fun".

She smiled and said,"So fun.I'm so glad I have a friend like you,I haven't had a best girl friend since I was little".

When she said that it kind of hurt me,but that's all we are.Just friends.

I didn't say anything so she said,"It's nice.Easy".

I smiled a bit and replied,"Yeah.Easy".

We ran to my house my house and I opened the door since no one was there.

"I need water".Wheezed Izzie.I giggled and went to the kitchen to get us a water bottle.I threw it at her and she said,"Thanks".

"You are very welcome".I replied and chugged the water.

Suddenly,somone knocked on the door.I went to open it and saw Evan."Hey".He said and smiled.

Shit.

"Oh,hi,I didn't think you would come over today".I said suprised because I reallu didn't expect him to come over today.

"Well here I am".He laughed.

There was an moment of silence because I really didn't know what to do since I really wanted to hang out with Izzie but I didn't want to hurt Evan.

"Can I come in?".He asked,I unfroze and replied,"Uh,yeah".I opened the door wider for him and he came in.

I closed the door and sighed quietly.

"Oh,hi Izzie.I didn't know you were here".Said Evan while I awkwardly stood next to him.

I looked at Izzie with a 'I'm sorry' look since I knew she wanted to hang out.

"I'm gonna get going,I don't want to interupt anything".Said Izzie with disapointment in her voice.

I walked after her towards the door and said,"No.You can stay".

"It's fine,Newton,I'll text you later".She said and walked away.

I sighed and closed the door,looking back at Evan.

"What was that about?".Asked Evan.

I looked at him and I said,"I need to take a shower and a nap.Can we hang out like tomorrow?".I asked,trying to not sound rude.

"Oh,yeah that's fine".He said walking towards me and giving me a hug before saying,"You stink".He laughed.

"Wow really.Thanks".I replied and turned around to see him walking out the door.

He waved at me and I waved back at him before he closed the door.

I sighed and walked up the stairs to get my deserved shower and nap.
