Humans are seriously the most terrifying creatures. Walking on the cold pavement I started to realise that. How'd I managed to become one? I mean I can't really do anything about it now, can I?
My feet are cold as I walk on the lantern-lit road, I can barely feel them. I should've taken a pair of shoes before fleeing. It is a particularly cold night even though it's July.
I turned left to Morningstar alley and caught a small glimpse of the road where small blood drops were. Blood dripping from my hands. It wasn't my blood. No, I'd never hurt myself. It was someone's whose blood was to be spilt.
I noticed how my head hurt from my tight bun. I brushed my hands on my dress from the blood and let my white hair down. It was also stained.
"Hello kid" said a female voice. It was a dark figure dressed in black. A hat was covering her face.
"Who are you." I asked ready for just about everything that she might do.
"No one who you should be afraid of" she answered to me smiling.
"Then what do you want." She didn't seem to be minding my bloody dress and hands. I liked her.
"I don't want anything, but you see, you came to my secret spot. In normal circumstances, I would have cut your throat by now but I can't do that, not when you, such a cute little girl, drenched in blood come to me."
Nevermind.
"What are you gonna do then?"
"Well, I suppose you don't have any parents?"
"I do. But it's complicated." I broke the eye contact.
"It's always like that with parents nowadays isn't it? I won't ask if you don't wanna tell me. Consider this another chance at life kiddo. Goodbye." She said walking past me.
"Wait!" I sort of yelled at her.
"Hm?" She hummed while looking back at me.
"Will you kidnap me?"
