Sunflower.

(Izuku's POV)

I swallow thickly as my feet stumble after the prince. I practically have to run to keep up with him. Darn my short legs! I see a small crowed of people waiting by some carriages. Most of them were the servants that already worked in the castle but I spotted the two girls King Endeavor picked as his servants. I walk over to them and one of the other servants asked me for my address. They do this so that if you have family (which is really common) you family knows what happened and the castle doesn't have to worry about you running away when you go to say bye. "You can go ahead and get in. It will only take 15 more minutes for the choosing ceremony to be over." She says as she points to the carriage that the two girls were now climbing into. I nod and say a small thank you and start walking towards the carriage. "Actually I would like for you to ride with me." I hear a chilling voice state. "Oh my apologies Your Highness!" The lady who was helping says panic on her face. Prince Todoroki waves a dismissive hand at the lady. I walk towards the Prince and climb into the carriage. It wasn't normal for a servant to ride with their masters in their nice carriages.... Right? I fiddle my thumbs trying to distract myself from the nervousness I'm feeling. A few minutes later Prince Todoroki climbs into the carriage with me shutting the door behind him. I was left alone..... With the prince.....Lord please help me... I stare down at my feet unsure whether or not I was supposed to break the incredibly uncomfortable atmosphere. "What's you name?" He asks me all the sudden. "M-My na-ame is uh M-id-dori-iya Iz-zuku Y-Your H-Hig-gness." I squeak out quietly. I don't dare to look up as I feel my face turning red. It was quite awkward and we mostly just sat in silence. About ten minutes later our carriage started to move and we were on our way to the castle I'm kinda scared of what my future holds to be honest. Also I'm scared for my mom she barely makes ends meet I hope she'll be ok.

(Time skip)

We pull up inside the castle walls and honestly I'm kinda excited mostly anxious but let's not focus on that. The courtyard is filled with so many people. All doing their own things. And there are tons of cute kids running by. I feel a tiny bit of resentment in my chest as I see that all of the people here have more than enough food and all the people in the junction are fighting over their scrapes. The Prince climbs out and I follow suit. As me and him are walking into the castle I see a little girl trip and start crying. I rush over to her all thought of the Prince gone. I kneel down beside her to see she scraped her knee up pretty good. "Oh it's ok sweetheart!" I say smiling brightly. "Here let me clean it up for you. But first I have a very important question for you. Do you think you can answer it for me?" She nods her heads no longer crying only sniffling slightly.  "Can you tell me what color sunflowers are?" She giggles and looks at me. I start wiping her knee with my sleeve as we continue to talk. "Sunflowers are yellow just like the sun! It's in the name!!" She says laughing even harder. "Oh... I guess your right! They also match your beautiful dress as well." She looks at me super excited she hops up and start twirling in circles. "Look how big my skirt is its like a princess dress right?!?" I chuckle and nod my head. "Maddie come here!!" I here women's voice call out. "Well I got to go. Bye mister and thank you!!" She says as she runs away. I giggle to myself and go back to what I'm doing. THE PRINCE!!!! I just left him there!! I spin around to see the Prince standing there watching me with the tiniest smile on his face. I rush back to him and bow. "I-I'm s-s-so sor-ry you-ur Hi-ig-gness!" I say quickly. "It's ok Midorya." Me and him continue walking then I hear it "DEKU!!" I spin around to see Kachan glaring at me. "K-Kach-han?!??" I yell back in surprise. "...Kachan?..." Comes a small confused whisper from the Prince.
