This Wabbajack was not going to be as easy as the one we fought on the ship, but I didn’t learn that until after I tried to kill it in one swing. Gripping my scythe tightly, I bring it above my head. I'm about to slice into its neck when it spins its body around incredibly fast, its thick tail catching me in the abdomen sending me flying.
I didn’t have time to think before I was stopped by a tree, every bone in my back snapping and cracking. I couldn’t even cry out because the wind was knocked out of me when I was sent flying.
Helix! I could use some help! I scream mentally, glancing up at the Wabbajack as it stalked towards me. I want to reach for my scythe, but my back won’t let me. The wound is too deep to heal fast enough even with Helix’s help. I could feel the bones piecing themselves back together but not quick enough, the beast would be on me soon.
The Wabbajack was now looking me in the eyes, its jaw opening as it screamed in my face. I cringed, unable to block my ears. I could feel them start to bleed ad the noise rips at my ears.
“Hey Ugly!” Annabeth taunted, and a large rock hit the Wabbajack in the side of its head. A moment of relief quickly turned into fear as I realized what she was doing as soon as it turned its head away from me.
“Over here!” She yells tossing another rock before turning and running into the woods.
The Wabbajack screeched before chasing after her, and the ground was shaking with every footfall. My bones finally piece themselves back together and I push myself up, grabbing my scythe and running after the beast.
When I caught up with them, Percy and Nico were trying to get its attention off of Annabeth who was running with the beast right on her heels. Why won’t she turn and attack him?
"Oh shit," I mutter. Reaching back into my pocket, I feel all warmth leave me as my fingers grasped the cold metal of her dagger.
I can’t just give it to her. Dhe already doesn’t trust me, and if I give her the dagger I had before I “disappeared” I know the questions would never end.
But as I fought with myself on what to do Percy managed to somehow get onto the monsters head, holding onto the horns for dear life as it thrashed around trying to throw him off. While it thrashed it left its large chest exposed and I knew this was our only chance.
“Annabeth!” I yell as I reach for the dagger at my waist, ripping it from its sheath.
She looks up as I throw the dagger her way. From here I could see her eyes light up as she leaps for the blade, grabbing it by the hilt. At the same moment the beast throws its head up, finally freeing itself from Percy. Its chest is fully exposed.
I hold my breath as her eyes move from the blade to me, and confusion battles with disbelief. I push away the voice telling me I'm going to regret my decision as the beast begins to fall from its crest. "Annabeth," I scream, finding my breath, "now!"
She quickly looks away from me and takes the opportunity, plunging the golden blade deep into its chest. My heart beat pounds in my ears as I watch the violet blood spatter her face and body.
Those large dark eyes widened as it screeched in pain as blood began flying from its mouth and showering down onto us before it fell to the ground with a large thump. Annabeth drew her weapon out and a disgusted look came to her face as the thick blood dripped down her arm.
“Eww,” She says, scrunching up her nose at the horrid smell.
Percy and Nico gagged, covering their noses as they laughed at Annabeth’s distress, “Nasty, you’re gonna have to take a million showers to get rid of that smell."
I frowned as they kept laughing, but before I could tell them to grow up the smell hit me like a brick and I doubled over gagging.
“Oh shut up, I just saved all of us!” She says, trying to wipe some of the blood off in the grass, but she couldn’t help from gagging herself.
But we didn’t complain for long because another screech filled the air and our heads shot up to see another Wabbajack above us. This one had two heads...Where does that Red headed bitch get these things?
One of the heads opened its mouth and its throat lit up.
"We're going to get fried alive if we didn’t do something quick," Percy tried to joke.
But just as I thought we were going to become KFC for this monster a sound similar to a lion’s roar filled the air. I looked in the direction of the sound in time to see a over-sized cat leaping from the top of the tree and clinging to the beasts head.
Wolfy boy?
But if that wasn’t weird enough a certain fiery bird came into view, carrying an all too familiar male.
“Rowland?” Percy, Nico, and Annabeth all said at the same time as Talonflame releases his shoulders, letting him drop to the ground before it began shooting fire at the beast.
Rowland landed gracefully before us, bowing before looking up with a cocky grin that revealed his fangs.
“Evening friends, what would you do if I hadn’t come to the rescue?” He questioned as the beast landed behind him, leveling most of the surrounding trees.
“We’d probably keep Pennsylvania intact,” Annabeth states sarcastically as Wolfy emerges from the fallen beast.
I was knocked off my feet in a matter of seconds with the big cat pinning me to the ground and licking me with his rough, blood covered tongue. The smell of his breath mixed with the blood was revolting.
“Alright, alright, let me up!” I managed putting my hands on his chest and shoving him off of me as I sat up.
I started wiping the thick slimy liquid from my face as Talonflame perched on my shoulder nuzzling the side of my head affectionately.
At least these two recognized me.
“Must be because he looks like the male version of Red,” I heard Percy offer an explanation for the two’s actions and Nico and Rowland seemed to accept it, Annabeth seemed less convinced but nodded her head.
“Whatever, at least I’m not the only one who smells now,” She giggles as I try to brush my hands through my slime filled hair.
Did I miss something? I heard Helix voice fill my head and I groaned internally.
“And where the hell have you been?” I mutter under my breath.
What? Spirits need their beauty sleep too, I was hoping you wouldn’t get yourself killed while I rested a bit...And what is that smell!” He says gagging.
“Don’t even start,” I warn as wolfy licked my cheek again, leaving another slime trail.

wow we really suck don't we? So sorry, school has been keeping Panic, Life, and I all very busy.
So the song "The Uprise" used for this chapter for a few reasons. For one it's one of my fav songs by Famous Last Words. But also because it's about fighting for what you believe in, in a way the people are being rebels.
So Stizza(Red), Annabeth, Percy, and Nico in a way have just had their first fight on there journey to start an uprise and stop the Twisted Hand.
interesting right? hahaha.... I'm gonna be quite now ~Ryder
