Italicize means their thinking.
I've been living in Japan for 5 years now. 4 years ago, my father moved here because of work, and what was supposed to a 1 year job got extended. So my mother and I had no choice but to join him. My father is Japanese and has always been trying to teach me the language, so when I first arrived to Japan, I already have a linguistic background. But it was not enough, I had to take Japanese class and work harder than all my classmates.
Today, I'm a High school student, I live with my parents in Tokyo and go to Seidou High. The new semester starts on Monday, i was getting nervous but i felt excited and pumped as well. I left for my part time job at the Ramen Shop near my place. It was a quiet day when 4 young men walked in. They were wearing baseball uniforms and holding their equipment. I welcomed them with a smile and went to take their order. The tallest one of them was handsome. 'I think he is also either half Japanese or a foreigner'. He looked at me with a warm smile "4 ramen bowls please."
"Oh and add to that a non-spicy miso soup, and your phone number." I looked at the guy, he was wearing a baseball cap over his semi-long brown hair. He looked at me with a smirk on his face. It felt like his eyes were piercing through body.
"4 ramen bowls and an extra spicy miso soup, right away."
His face briefly showed an expression of surprise before his smirk found it's way back. His friends laughed at him. As i walked away, i heard him say "Game On, Bold Girl"
The shop suddenly got crowded and I couldn't find a minute to rest. I was so relieved when it was my break-time. I went to the staff room and my friend, Aria, was already there. "Hhhmmm, so that hot baseball guy kept staring at you the whole time?~"
"W-What... He's so full of himself."
"His hot though." She said while eating.
Well i can't deny that he was really handsome. He had the kind of face that stopped you in your tracks. I guess he was used to the sudden pause in a person's natural expression when they looked his way. Of course the blush that accompanied was a dead giveaway.
When my break ended and I went to the counter, the guy in question came to pay.
"That would be 120 ¥"
The smirk never left his face and he maintained eye contact, it was so intense. I tried to avoid looking at him in the eyes. He handed me the money.
"What school do you go to?"
"Will you atleast tell me your name?"
I was counting the change and was about to hand it over to him when he put his hand on his chest. "Ahah, a cute girl is ignoring me, it hurts." He managed to get a quick smile from me.
"Its Shiratori Amine"
"I'm Miyuki Kazuya, nice to meet you Amine-chan~"
"Thank you for your visit, please come by again."
"You can count on that" he said as he he left, once outside, he looked at me again and waved.
'I really dislike this this kind of guys, so ARROGANT.'
