Chapter ten

Rose's POV
"I'm so glad things are back to normal babygirl." I said one morning as I made breakfast. "Me too hun. I'm glad we don't have to hide anymore" Luisa looked at me with lust in her eyes. I winked at her and she giggled at me. I settled down with breakfast on plates for us. "So, I've been thinking." I said as we ate. " 'bout what love?" She looked at me with a glint in her eyes. "Well, you know how we've been thinking about kids for like, 3 years?" I asked cautiously. "Yes. Why?" She looked at me, her eyebrow cocked. "Well I think we've waited long enough. Now the question is, do we adopt? Or do we get a sperm donor?" I looked at her, watching her contemplate this decision. "I think that the easiest thing to do is to get a sperm donor. It takes more time to adopt than it does to birth one." "Alright. I will do some research. I just have one question. Which one of us is getting pregnant?" I asked pulling out my computer. "I don't know. I'll think on it hun. Now, I have to get dressed for work." She stood up, kissed my forehead and went upstairs. (Remember Luisa works at a burlesque dance lounge).
8:00pm:
Luisa's keys jingled in the front door as she walked in. I was sitting on the couch still researching and she slid her hands onto my shoulders and wrapped them around my neck. "Welcome home babygirl." I said softly, lifted my head and kissed her. "So I've done some research, and I think I'll be the one to get pregnant if we do a donor." "Are you sure sweetheart?" She asked me kindly. "Yes babygirl. I'm sure. I've already registered for the California cryobank." I told her "we're really gonna have a baby?" She asked in disbelief. "We're really gonna have a baby." I whispered to her. I stood up and kissed her hard. "The question is, who do we get sperm from? Somebody we know, or a stranger?" "A stranger. I don't want the donor to want to have a part in the child's life." She told me in a cautious tone. "Remember what happened with Jane and Rafael? I don't want that to happen to us." I looked into her eyes softly "Okay Lu-Lu. I had better get back on my computer then." She gave me a soft chuckle, kissed me, and went to take a shower. I started looking at sperm donors from the cryobank. After three hours of diligent research I found a man by the name of Jon Cordero. Luisa was upstairs watching a tv show. I closed my computer and walked upstairs to our room. I opened the door softly and saw my little Luisa, asleep on my side of the bed. I walked over, and crawled in bed next to her. She was half awake and felt me crawl into bed, so she scooted closer and buried her head in my chest. I put my arm around her and admired her beautifully tan skin, her luscious brown hair, every curve of her beautiful body. I love this woman so much, with all my heart. I'd kill anybody for her, and I'd die for her. And she knows this. I really hope this pregnancy works. She really wants a child, and I want what she wants. "I love you Sin Rostro." She muttered. "I love you too Lu-Lu. Get some sleep." She snuggled closer and we fell asleep.
The next morning: (still Rose's POV)
I woke up the next morning in bed by myself and could here music from downstairs. It was soft, but I could tell it was music from the playlist we made of songs about our romance. The songs that described it. I decided to hop in the shower. After my shower I put on a belly shirt with a red rose on it, and a pair of light blue jeans. I put my hair into a high ponytail and went downstairs to see Luisa. "So I ordered from the sperm donor last night." I told her. "You did baby?" She asked me excitedly. "Yes and they say it should be here by Tuesday." She ran over and jumped into my lap. I pulled her close and she buried her face in my neck. We sat there for a minute, when she took me by surprise and kissed me. It only took a split second for me to melt into her touch. I felt her lips make a smirk as she pulled away. "I have to make a call hun." She said with a familiar glint in her eyes. "Of course dear." She went outside and made her call. I went upstairs to our room to grab a quick nap so I could do some cleaning while Luisa went to work. I heard the bedroom door open when I was almost asleep. I thought Luisa had forgot something before she went to work so in didn't think anything of it. Until she laid down next to me and cuddled close to my chest once again. I subconsciously wrapped my arm around her and heard her giggle. I didn't care. I wrapped on arm under her, and the other over her, holding her like a teddy bear. She turned over and faced towards me. I felt her hand reach up and touch my cheek, then run her fingers through my hair. She scooted up because she was shorter than me, and kissed me. I knew she wanted control over this one so I gave it to her. She stopped kissing me and I turned on my back. She rested her head on my chest and we fell asleep like this.
Tuesday morning 10:00am
I was watching tv in the living room when I heard the phone ring. It was the hospital telling me that the sample had arrived. I was so excited that I ray upstairs to change. I put my hair into a very tight French braid and put on a pair of jean shorts and a tank top that showed a little bit of my bra. I went downstairs to wait for Luisa. When Luisa came downstairs she was wearing a white sundress with orange flowers on it. She had on sandals and her hair was in a messy bun. I stood up and walked over to her. I put my arm around her waist and told her "The hospital called while you were in the shower." "Really!!" She asked excitedly. "Yes. I think we should go to the hospital." We looked at each other for a minute than walked out to the car. Once at the hospital we were in the waiting room for a good half hour before finally getting called in. The doctor came in and greeted us. "Hello Mrs Solano. Are you ready for your insemination?" "Yes ma'am." "I see you brought someone with you today. Who is this?" She shook Luisa's hand. "I'm her wife. My name is Luisa." She told her. "Nice to meet both of you. Mrs Solano can you scoot down a little please?" She was really nice. Probably the nicest doctor I've ever dealt with. I scooted down as she prepared the insemination tube. Luisa grabbed my hand as she began the insemination. It felt a little weird but it was over quickly. "Alright. All done. Now I recommend you lie still for ten minutes for the best chance of pregnancy." She told me. "Alright thank you so much." She left the room and I looked up at Luisa. "I really hope this sticks." She didn't have anything to say. She was so happy she had a wide smile with a tear running down her face. She leaned down and kissed me. I placed by hand on her cheek to wipe off her tear and melted into her kiss. Ten minutes had passed and we finally were able to leave. "Alright. Now in two weeks I'll take a test and we'll see if it sticks." I told her as we got in the car. She reached over and grabbed my hand again. "I hope it does too baby. If it does what gender do you want it to be?" She asked me. "I think I want it to be a girl." "I kinda want it to be a boy." She said. "Either way, I'll be happy because it will be our baby." She looked at me and giggled. I could tell she was happy. She was finally going to get the family she dreamed of as long as I actually got pregnant.
