To say Jayden and his siblings were shocked was an understatement. In that moment everyone got over their shock. And started shouting for joy!
"Welcome to the resistance kids!" Someone shouts from somewhere in the crowd of the resistance.
"Yeah me and my siblings can't stay for long. The government is after us." Jayden said.
But he was ignored by the people. He walked over to the wall away from people and leaned on it. Watching as he siblings had fun talking to the other people.
Sierra was talking to girls older and younger than her. While some of the older women started drinking. Than Jayden looked to where Danny was laughing and joking with some of guys.
" You don't have to worry about your siblings anymore. Your all safe here." A voice said behind Jayden.
Jayden turned to the voice behind him to see James the leader of the resistance.
" Me and my siblings have to leave tomorrow." Jayden said.
Not looking at James anymore.
"Why?" James asked.
Jayden sighed but continued.
"We took our parents car to get away. And I used my powers to blew up a car so they won't track us. But me and my siblings can't stay here or the people after us will come after you and your friends!" Jayden almost yelled.
"We are stronger than you think kid. We have stayed hidden for a while from the government. But if your so worried we will all go to our new base and you and your siblings will be safe with us." James said with no emotions.
"You and your resistance can't hid forever. One day they are going to find you all and either experiment, or put us in prisons that we won't survive in." Jayden said looking at James.
"Yes I know that. Most of people in the resistance escaped from that prison. You and your siblings just started running from the government and your parents. But most people here had to run for so long that they lost hope for our kind. And they have seen there friends and family be killed. Or like most that their families try to kill them. You and your siblings are safe here." James said walking away from Jayden.
Jayden looked to his siblings seeing them smile.
'I hope I did the right thing.' Jayden thought as he watched everyone partied and laughed and joked with each other.
