It was by the evening when Nyonika asked Nandu to go and freshen up a bit...and change her dress, and come for pooja...

Nandu smilingly nodded and went to change.. that was when Raj said

Raj: I think Manik India aa raha hai...

All turned towards him in shock.... and shouted

All: what

Raj palmed his ears and said

Raj: shut up.... stop shouting you all....

Raman: Raj ye tum kya keh rahe ho...

Raj: Raman i said, i think Manik aa raha hai... mujhe sirf lagta hai yeh...

Daadu: vo kyu..

Raj: Dad vo actually

Raj told about yesterday night, how he emotionally blackmailed Manik... He then looked at Nyonika who was already looking at him...

Cabir: Dad i can't believe aapne aesa kiya...

Raj: karna padta hai Cabir...

Raman: but Raj ye galat hai... Khud socho, Manik ki bhi apni responsibilities hai, uska bhi toh kitna mann hoga na yahan aane ka, you might have made him feel very guilty...

Raj made a face at him but inwards smiled genuinely.. indeed he was happy, agar Nandu was the new heart to Malhotra's, same way Manik was also the son of this family, and Raman and Shashi loved him equally....

Raj: ye sab choro... ye batao tum logo ko kya lagta hai...

And this was it.. everyone jumped in with their assumptions... creating a chaos in the living area....

Where this all was being going on in hall, Nandu came back to her room.. she sat on the bed... Indeed the day was getting more and more happier... But somewhere the girl inside nandu was not happy... A daughter was happy, but not the girl.. she was happy seeing her families having fun, she was happy by the idea and all the rituals related to karvachauth, she was happy because he asked her to be happy, she was not at all happy for her own self... But now she was a bit excited, because she was about to wear the dress he selected for her... She had not even looked at it till now.. She went to the washroom, and came out taking a short shower, revitalizing her body.... She came wearing a bathrobe.. she opened one of the packets, which had her dress, that Nyonika handed to her... She was amazed to see the suit, that was placed in the box... such beautiful embroidery work done over it... Nandu adored it, caressed the embroidery... It had a plain dupatta, Patiala salwar, and a embroidered kurti inside it... She kept it on the bed, her eyes caught sight of a paper in the box.. she took the paper and her lips curved into a smile... It was a note from Manik... she smilingly read the note..

Pr the thing that made me like her as a person was, her humble nature... She would never refuse to help, jab bhi kisi ko help chahiye hoti thi be it in studies, or assignments, projects, she happily use to help everyone....
