Nyonika had already told them about the function and how it is done... So according to that, a puja was organized for the chooda ceremony... The chooda is put into a mixture of milk and water together to purify the bangles.... Before it is put on the bride's wrist by her maternal uncle or brother, all the close relatives (specially married ladies) touch the chooda as a mark of their blessings.... After that, the wrist is covered with a white cloth, as the bride cannot see the chooda till the time the wedding ceremonies start...
Nandu wore a plain suit after taking bath and came out... Shashi was sitting in the room waiting for Nandu to get ready... As her hair was wet so she just let them open... She wore no jewellery as after the chooda ceremony she was to get ready for the wedding itself... So Nandu just wore a plain suit... Shashi kissed her forehead blessing her and the duo came out to the hall where the ceremony was to take place... Aryaman was already sitting there alongside panditji who was performing the pooja... Nandu sat in the middle... Panditji did her pooja, applied tilak on her forehead and tied holy thread on her wrist.... After that the ceremony started...
