It was Saturday, 6:15 pm. Stone was expected to pick up Robotnik in 45 minutes. He was stuck on what to wear. Stone wanted to impress Robotnik, but at the same time didn't want to be over dressed. He really was acting as if it was a date. He settled on black jeans, a white sleeveless cropped turtleneck , and a black jean jacket. (He be stylin) When Stone was finally ready at 6:40, he left to pick up Robotnik. He arrived just on time. Robotnik was wearing black jeans, a fitted black t-shirt, and a dusty red leather jacket. Stone had never seen Robotnik wearing such casual clothes, he blushed at the holy sight. When Robotnik got in the car, he noticed Stone's cute outfit and surprised expression.
"Close your mouth, Stone. We're going to a bar, I'm going to wear casual clothes. And if anyone should be surprised, it should be me."
Stone suddenly remembered what he was wearing. He immediately got self conscious and looked away nervously.
"Y-you don't like it, sir?"
Robotnik was surprised by the question. He answered quietly "...you look nice"
Stone gained a little confidence by this, but he wasn't entirely convinced. The car ride to the bar was pretty quiet. They were both nervous, but excited. When they got there, the people they were meeting up with were already waiting on them. The bar was packed, seeing as it was 7:25 on a Saturday night. Robotnik was not exactly a people person. He latched onto Stone's arm without thinking when they entered. Stone was a little worried for Robotnik, but he continued on, finding the people didn't take to long.

TO MAKE THIS EASIER FOR YOU TO READ AND ME TO WRITE, KATHY'S LINES WILL BE IN BOLD AND ROBOTNIK'S UNDERLINED. sorry for the inconvenience
"Lee! Hey, it's me Kathy. Sorry, Dawn ditched us. He said he had work to do."
"Lucky"
"That's alright, three is still plenty"
"Wait, didn't we say to bring 'friends'? Emphasis on the 's'?"
"I don't really have friends besides Robotnik- err. I should introduce you to. Robotnik, this is Kathy we met in highschool. Kathy, this is Robotnik. He's my boss"
"Robotnik? What kind of name is that?"
"You can call me Dr. Robotnik."
Stone heard the slight aggravation in Robitnik's tone. He was clearly frustrated with the situation.
"Your name sounds like a 90s video game villain. Seriously, do you go by anything else?"
"Would you excuse me for a moment?"
Robotnik had to step away from the situation. He didn't want his temper to get the best of him. Stone tried to follow, but Kathy stopped him.
"Wow, seriously, Lee? Your only friend is your boss? That's sad. He seems like a total buzz kill. Why don't you hang out with me and Dawn anymore? We're way more fun!"
Stone was infuriated by this. Kathy didn't understand Robotnik at all, she was incompetent. Stone felt like he had made a mistake inviting Robotnik here.
"No, I think what's really sad is you have the balls to judge someone you don't know at all. I don't think you know me at all, either." And with that, Stone went to find Robotnik. He was at the other side of the bar, ordering a drink. Stone sat down on the empty bar stool next to him and started thinking. Robotnik handed him a drink.
BACK TO NORMAL DIALOGUE
"What's wrong, Stone?"
"Sorry I invited you here. I should've know it was a bad idea."
Robotnik smiled and took a sip of his own drink.
"Why is that? Don't you want to spend time with me?"
Agent Stone smiled softly.
"It's not that, I just know you don't do well in social situations. Bars are loud, bright, and filled with people. It's a bit over stimulating and Kathy was always pushy and a bit stuck up:"
Robotnik thought for a moment.
"Doesn't hurt we atleast tried something new, right?"
Stone wasn't used to this level of optimism from Robotnik. He liked it. Stone stayed fairly sober only having the one drink, but Robotnik had a few to many. Stone decided they needed to leave before it 'got out of hand'. On the drive back to Robotnik's house, he chatted lively.
"Stone, thaaaank you for taking me out."
"O-of course, sir"
"You don't have to call me that, Stone, we're being casual"
"What should I call you?"
"I suppose Ivo, but just for tonight"
Stone smiled, the Doctor never let him call him that.
"You look so lovely tonight, sorry I couldn't have been a better date"
"Was this a date si- Ivo?"
Robotnik blushed,
"I meant in a figurative since"
When they got to Robotnik's house, Robotnik realized he didn't have his keys.
"Shit, I can't get in without them... you know, because their my keys."
Stone laughed a little, but then straightened up.
"Sir- Ivo, you can stay at my place for the night and figure out how to get you back in your house tomorrow, when you're sober."
"Splendid idea, Stone!"
They went back to Stone's apartment. When they walked through the door, Robotnik took off his shoes at the entrance and walked around. Stone led him to the bedroom.
"Hohoho, you want to get dirty, Stone?" Robotnik winked, but Stone laughed at this comment.
"Ivo, you can sleep here tonight. I'll go on the couch."
Robotnik put his hands on Stone's waist and pulled him in, lips not quite touching.
"S-sir... you're just drunk, I don't think you really want want to kiss me."
Robotnik's expression looked like a mixture of pity and disappointing which didn't quite make since.
"I may be drunk, but I know I do want to kiss you. I do want you. At work, that's what I'm thinking about when I'm not thinking about actual work. Though I don't think sober me would want this to be how we share our first kiss. One thing I do know is I should tell you I like you when I have the confidence. And that seems to be right now."
Robotnik stares at Stone for a moment before removing his hands. Stone left the room without saying anything and slept on the couch that night. He was so confused. Stone wanted what Robotnik said to be true, but he couldn't possibly be sure and he kept thinking it wasn't. Stone wanted to ask Robotnik in the morning, but he was worried Robotnik would forget and say he didn't like Stone.
