Rosella
It had been about a week since Felix and I first kissed. It felt unnatural to ignore it so we didn't. We went with the flow.
"Don't," I giggled when he threatened to tickle me, "I swear to god if you-"
"I won't, I won't," he laughed playfully as he put his hands up in surrender.
"Glad to know I'm a scary woman," I teased before he sat next to me.
"You really are. I struggle to sleep at night," he mocked. I smiled cheekily at him before checking the time on my phone.
"It's four," I patted his back, "you promised to take me to the mall, remember?"
He groaned and laid his head on the pillow, "I'm sleeping," he joked, closing his eyes. I yanked the pillow he was sleeping on and threw it at him.
"We have to go now before Mira and Onruang come back from wherever they are!" I shook him as I begged.
"But...gravity,"
"Felix," I put my face closer to his, "please," I gave him a pleading look. His finger reached my nose before he pinched it lightly.
"Okay," he cracked a smile.
"Thank you, sir. Let's go!" I ran to my closet.
3 hours later
"That was fun," I smiled at him, squeezing the massive teddy bear that I won. Felix smiled in return and grabbed my hand as we walked home together.
"Rosella?" he calls my name without looking at me, "You know how you keep bugging me about not telling you what happened with that guy with the gun?"
"Mhm?" I tilt my head slightly in curiosity.
"If I tell you, would you hate me?"
I froze and looked at him, wide-eyed. "You didn't kill him did you?" I took a step back, teddy bear in hand.
"No! What?" he burst into a fit of laughter, pulling me closer to him.
"No, I wouldn't hate you. Unless you killed him. Even then, I'd forgive you if it was self-defense," I smiled sweetly.
"Okay," he smiled before he turned his head and started walking, still holding my hand. Three minutes passed and he hadn't said a word.
"Well?" I shouldered him gently, "Aren't you gonna tell me?"
"Oh," he looked at me with an innocent look, "bathroom first," he let go of my hand and started running to the nearest bathroom, leaving me standing there with my furry white teddy bear.
"This boy will be the death of me," I sighed.
I was waiting for Felix to come out of the bathroom. Fifteen minutes passed and there was so sign of him.
"Felix? You done?" I tried not to be too loud. No answer. I took my phone and started playing Candy Crush since it was clear he wasn't coming out any time soon. As I was close to winning, I feel someone poke my back.
"Finally Felix-" I turn. It wasn't Felix. It was a man. Scruffy beard, tan skin and a mischievous look in his eyes.
Those eyes.
"You-" he interrupted me by forcefully covering my mouth, pulling me with him. I tried to resist, to shout, but this guy was ripped. There were very few people, so he pulled me behind the bathroom where no one could see us, took out his gun and hit me on the head until I blacked out.
