My Girl

Part Two .

Witney's face was unreadable . She was shocked , but I couldn't tell whether it was good or bad . I just wanted to run away and never show my face again .
" Ummm, " was all I could get out . We just stood there facing each other . I was unable to say anything then .
" maybe we should just call it a night .? " said Witney . I then just packed my things and left . I was utterly embarrassed .

I decided to go to my hotel but I ended up going to Witney's room instead . I needed to let her know what was going on in my mind . I needed to see her . What she thought . I knocked on the door and waited patiently . I waited and waited and waited . Just as I was about to leave , Witney opened her door .
She said , " Mark , I was actually just about to visit you . Come in . " I did as I was told " So , " she said , " I think we need to talk . " " Yeah we do , " I replied ." I just wanted to ... To you know , make the dance seem real . I , I wanted to make the audience feel something . I was out of line to do that . I really was . Can you forgive me ?"
"Of course I forgive you . I understand what you were going for , and I think it's a good idea . We should keep it in the dance ," replied Witney . I was so relieved . I couldn't live knowing she was mad at me , or embarrassed .
" Besides , we're friends ," she then said . Ohh , 'friends'. I wanted to be more than friends . I didn't want to be stuck in the friend zone . I wanted to tell her . To tell the world that I didn't . I wanted her to know that I loved her . But I merely replied with , " yeah . " and walked out regretting everything I just did .

Okay I decided to stick with this . But I would love feedback , good or bad . Please comment on what I can work on . I really want this to be a good story , and I need to know suggestions or tips .
Also , what should my next story be . Maybe give me ideas . I would love it if you do . ♡
