Warrior King of Land of Shadows

Chapter 4

During next few days Gudao, Gudako, Mash and Anna were doing various jobs through Uruk which mostly included helping people. When Siduri told them that they have a free day they enjoyed it by walking through streets of Uruk, trying the food, training with Leonidas and soldiers which was a hell for Gudao and Gudako.

Next day Siduri told them that King was requesting them at throne room. Gilgamesh told them how they needed help of goddesses on their side so she gave them a task to bring goddess Ishtar to their cause. She told them that they needed to go to mount Erida. She knew that they wouldn't be able to defeat her, so she gave them a cart full of gems and when Ishtar saw cart, she grabbed the biggest gem she could find there and hugged it like it was her child rubbing her face on it making Gudao, Gudako, Mash, Anna and Merlin sweatdrop.

When they returned with Ishtar, she said she will join them if she gets more gems to which Gilgamesh agreed. Next few days were peaceful for them until goddess Quetzalcoatl attacked Uruk. Group together with Ishtar fought her and they managed to make her retreat. Gilgamesh then gave them another task. They had to destroy Quetzalcoatl's source of divinity and strength which was Sun Stone and take Axe of Marduk.

On their way to where Quetzalcoatl's temple was build, they met Jaguar Man, Lancer Servant, who joined them. When they arrived there, they fought her but were losing while Gudao and Gudako were running up stairs of her temple where Sun Stone was and to destroy it. When they arrived there Gudao lifted Quetzalcoatl's weapon (I don't know it's name) and then stopped while Quetzalcoatl was coming towards them slowly. He called Ishtar and when she came he told her to take him in air and jumped to which his sister Gudako called him crazy fool. Later when he woke up he found himself in lap of Quetzalcoatl and jumped. They talked and in the end Quetzalcoatl became his servant to which Gudako became jealous that her brother got another cool servant. 

When they returned they found out that Naruto and Gilgamesh died with many people who were ill. They found out from Siduri that Gilgamesh died because of too much work and not resting while Naruto's reasons were similiar except that he fought off against monsters with little army which remained along with Leonidas and refusing to rest. Then Merlin told them that they needed help of Ereshkigal who could return them back to life. 

''So we have to go to Underworld, get Ereshkigal to join our cause and have Naruto and Gilgamesh returned to life. It should be easy.'' Stated Gudako

''Actually it won't be easy as you think. You will need to answer on question of each gate so you could pass them and reach to Ereshkigal.'' Said Merlin which made both Gudao and Gudako groan while Mash was giggling at siblings.

Group left Uruk and went to where entrance to underworld was. When they arrived there, they found gate which Merlin told them of. They answered on it's question and when they passed it they fought some undead and arrived to next gate. They repeated this process all over again, answering on questions of gates and fighting undead and on the way they found Gilgamesh who explained to them how she hided from Ereshkigal and her servants but were wondering where is Naruto.

When they finally made it to Ereshkigal's throne they found Ereshkigal crying on Naruto's shoulder and Naruto hugging her which confused them expect Gilgamesh who was wondering if Naruto told her of his past which she also knew about when Naruto told her and made her fall in love with him. Then he noticed them

''Oh you finally came. I'm so happy to see you.'' Said Naruto with smile on his face.

''Yes, Merlin gave us a mission to bring you two back and get Ereshkigal on our side, but we weren't expecting this.'' Said Gudako.

''Of course Merlin would do that'' Said Naruto with little laugh.

Ereshkigal in that moment stopped crying and let go of Naruto and looked at them and said '' I see that Gilgamesh and Naruto wanted other goddesses for something big. I wonder what's reason behind it.''.

''So did Naruto already told you that?'' Asked Gudao.

''Yes he told me that you were getting other goddesses as allies and he already asked me if I wanted to join to which I have agreed.'' Said Ereshkigal as she looked through Naruto's memories and knew that Enkidu and 'Tiamat' wanted to do something which could destroy all humanity.

Gilgamesh snapped her fingers and they all left in golden flash expect Naruto and Ereshkigal who stayed back there. 

Ereshkigal then looked at Naruto with sorrow in her eyes and asked him ''Will you ever return there?'' 

''Yes, I can't run away forever from my past. I will have to face them in some moment, but not yet.'' Said Naruto looking at her.

After few minutes of silence Naruto said ''I think it's time for me to leave. See ya later Ereshkigal.''.

''Wait!'' Shouted Ereshkigal which made Naruto stop and then she ran towards Naruto and stopped in front of him and kissed him on lips. Naruto was shocked for a few seconds but then returned kiss and she let his tongue enter in her mouth and explore it.

After few minutes they separated with Ereshkigal who had blush on her face said ''See you later then.'' 

Naruto then dissapeared in shadows leaving Ereshkigal alone and reappeared in throne room where he found everyone. That day all those who were ill became again healthy and those who died returned back to life.

Next day they had to go to another city to get tablet of destiny which Gilgamesh writed while she was sleeping. They went there and got but when they were returning Enkidu attacked them and they managed to defend themselves but then goddess 'Tiamat' awakened and decided to kill them but she was stopped by Ushiwakamaru who decided to sacrifice herself so they could escape and when they arrived in front of main wall of Uruk when 'Tiamat' appeared. 

In that battle Leonidas sacrificed himself and revealed her true name which was Gorgon, monster who was turning people of Greece into stone with her cursed eyes. In that moment Gorgon decided to retreat while soldiers of Uruk who died before Leonidas arrived were burried and then started to rebuild wall.

Then they were called to Gilgamesh who told them that  they needed more servants on their side. So she asked them to contact Chaldea and see if it's possible to send them here. She also told them of how they needed to destroy Gorgon's temple so she told them her plan.

''Next day when monsters attack Kingu will lead them so that will give you a chance to destroy her temple and stop creation of new monsters. Quetzalcoatl will throw Axe of Marduk and Merlin will use her staff as beacon. Naruto will also go-'' Gilgamesh was interupted by Naruto who said '' Sorry Gilgamesh but I won't go. I want fight against Kingu again.'' 

Gilgamesh then sighed down and said ''Alright, but if this doesn't work you're done Naruto.''

Next day group went towards temple of Tiamat while Naruto was killing monsters left and right while Quetzalcoatl called her dragons ( I don't know what they were called) who with ropes carried Axe of Marduk and let go of it. Quetzalcoatl jumped and catched handle of axe and started spinning it. Then they both sensed Kingu flying towards Quetzalcoatl when suddenly Naruto appeared and kicked Kingu away from her.

''Naruto!'' Said Kingu with hatred seeing man who stopped him from killing those siblings.

''Kingu.'' Said Naruto calmly.

Kingu rushed at Naruto and went to punch him in face which Naruto dodged by turning his head to left and then jumped back. Naruto then started to run towards him while Kingu opened golden portals and sent chains at him which to Naruto jumped high in air and started to avoid chains, who followed him, left and right or blocking them with his spear. In that moment Naruto throwed his spear at him and Kingu's eyes widened and dodged by jumping in air and on contact with earth it made a little crater appear.

''A fake?'' Said Enkidu alarmed and started turning his head left and right looking for Naruto when he heard laughing from above and saw Naruto coming towards him. Enkidu couldn't defend himself which gave Naruto chance to put Kingu's head between his knees and send him towards ground which made a crater appear. ( Like Quetzalcoatl did that to Enkidu)

Naruto, still in air, chucked little when a attack which looked like it was made of dust was coming towards him and sent him into ground. Kingu then sent a chain towards Naruto which wrapped around his arm and pulled Naruto towards himself and when Naruto was close he pulled his fist back and went to punch Kingu just like Kingu went to punch Naruto and in that moment their fists clashed against each other.

Naruto then saw a golden projectile like in air and took that as signal.

''Playtime is over Kingu!'' Said Naruto showing his fangs. ''Quetzalcoatl now!'' Shouted Naruto towards her who threw axe towards Gudao, Gudako and their group. Kingu was wondering what they were hoping to succed with this when explosion was heard and in that moment he realized what they were doing.

He went into air and as fast as he could went towards them, but by time he would arrive there Gorgon will already be dead along with Anna who sacrificed herself to defeat her.

They were happy that they defeated Gorgon, but were also sad they lost member of their group who sacrificed herself just to defeat her, but what they didn't know is that sea outside was turning black. In that moment wall was destroyed and saw that Kingu came flying. 

''Looks like Gorgon died.''

''Why, why hasn't this singularity dissapeared yet!?'' Shouted Gudako.

In that moment Merlin has fallen on her knee with blood coming from her mouth and then she realized what happened.

''I see, we fell for it.'' Said Merlin understanding why this singularity hasn't dissapeared yet.

''Yes, you did you tricky incubus.'' Said Kingu, but then continued '' It's true that you put Mother in cage of dreams to postpone her awakening.''

''Cage of dreams?'' Asked Gudako confused by this.

''It's because we killed Gorgon.'' Said Gudao who understood what happened.

''My only concern was to awake Mother from her slumber, but if she wouldn't wake up while alive all I had to do was to kill her.'' Said Kingu.

''Gorgon had Tiamat's Authority Potnia Theron'' Said Merlin.

''Yes while it's true that Gorgon had Mother's Authority all what you had to do was to kill Gorgon so that impact of death reverberated back to the synchronized Mother.'' Said Kingu while sea outside was turning more of black color like it was mud. 

'' I will let you continue to live, to be witness of Mother's awakening and then you can die.'' Said Kingu and left.

''Gudao, Gudako listen to me now. You need to go back to Uruk and tell King Gilgamesh and Naruto this. One of the beasts of the Counter Force, one that devours humanity, one that only can be beaten by the seven Grands, has aroused from her slumber. The Sea of Life. The Primordial Mother. One of the Seven Evils of humanity and one of the Beasts of Original Sin is awake!'' Said Merlin before she dissapeared.

Gudao, Gudako, Mash and Fou ran out of temple and went towards Uruk as fastest as they could. When they arrived there they saw servants from Chaldea were fighting, but they were losing while allowing people of Uruk to run towards ziggurat,  against strange black beasts who had large mouth without eyes and nose and had something as spikes as their legs. But what they saw brought them almost to vomit . Some of these beasts who killed normal humans who weren't able to escape were laughing as they ripped them apart and were eating some of them.

After 10 minutes servants of Chaldea and their Masters were surrounded by these beasts who were laughing until large crash was heard. Dust raised and out of it came Naruto, but there was no smile on his face which they normally see, and those who knew him like Scathach, Cu Chulainn were happy to see him but were also scared of that look in his eyes which he only had when he was going to rip something apart. But when they all looked around they saw that those beasts lost that smile and were shaking and they took that as sign of fear as it looked like they knew something which they didn't.

Naruto looked them all into eyes and said ''Don't interrupt me now.'' and rushed at Lahmus (I'm gonna write it as how they are called) with speed which no one could follow. He was killing Lahmus left and right with such skill that made group behind him look at him in awe. Lahmus tried to fight but it was useless for even they knew that fighting against him will result in their destruction.

After 5 minutes more than half of Lahmus who attacked Uruk were killed while rest managed to escape. In that moment Naruto told all to follow him to ziggurat where all people of Uruk and Gilgamesh were.

When they arrived there Naruto went to stand next to Gilgamesh and told Gudao and Gudako to tell them what Merlin said. Gudao and Gudako told them everything Merlin said to them about how Primordial Mother is awake. 

Gilgamesh sighed down and said ''I see, it was finally time for her to awake.'' 

''Wait! You mean you want to say that you always knew about this!'' Shouted Gudako.

''Yes we always knew that this will happen, after all Gilgamesh had visions of it.'' Said Naruto.

''What do you mean?'' Asked Gudao.

''You see before you even came I had visions. In these visions I saw a woman with big horns on her head. That woman turned into a giant being and she stood upon Uruk who was destroyed.'' Said Gilgamesh.

And then she spoke to her people '' Listen those who wants to live, go to beyond Northern Wall, and those who wants to stay then die for Uruk's sake. You have until evening to decide.''.

''King Gilgamesh, Naruto we wanted to ask you something. Who are those Grand Servants and why are they so special and how did Naruto killed those beasts outside so easily while others had problems with them?'' Asked Gudao

''First those beasts are called Lahmus and Grand Servants are strongest servants who exist to fight against Seven Beasts of Humanity to ease it up for you. And reason why Naruto easily killed those beasts is simple. He is one of the Seven. Servant Grand Lancer !'' Said Gilgamesh which shocked them all.
