Handy's Pov.
Today was a crappy day for me. Since I have no arms and hands I couldn't do my job so I retired. Also me and petunia broke up cuz she found a better man. Now I'm in my tree waiting for my best friend,(Y/N). She called me today if I wanted to hang out today. I said yes. I  grew a small, no, MASSIVE crush on her. But she sounded...off today when she called me. I'll ask her about it when she comes to my house.

(Y/N) Pov.
I sighed. Today was a gray day for me. As always. My name is (Y/N). I'm a (f/c) bat who lives in a cave in the mountains right by happy tree town. I didn't have many friends. My best and close friends are Flippy,Fliqpy,Handy,Sniffles, and Pop and Cub.I called handy today if he wanted to hang out. Unfortunately, he said yes. I was about to leave the bathroom checking myself to see if I was ready to see him when I saw my pocket knife. "...There it is." I said as I put it in my pocket of my hoodie. I have a big crush on handy but I feel like he won't like me back and never be friends with me again. So, I carry my pocket knife to make myself lose more blood.

After leaving my cave, I headed into town but once everybody when to say hi to me, they stopped wide eyed. I tiled my head but continued forward. I heard them, even disco bear, walking towards me. I ran as I could. I look back and regretted it. Everyone I saw was trying to grab me. Tears in their eyes. Cuddles then grab both of my sleeves but they both ripped off to reveal my cuts from my pocket knife. It then fell out of my pocket and I backed away. "(Y-y/n) why do you do this?" Cuddles said holding toothy about to cry. " Don't you see? I don't belong here. I don't belong anywhere. I should just end it all." I said with tears falling from my face and a rope in my hands. I then feel someone hug me. I turn to see...Handy.

Handy's Pov.
I heard every word she said. Why? She could have just told me she had depression. I hug her to clam her down. Well the best I could. I started to cry. "H-handy..?" She curly stuttered. I blushed when she said that. "Please don't end it all. We all care for you. You do realize that we are all a family, right?" Before she could even speak, everyone else hugged her. That's when I say it. She finally smiled and cried happy tears and her dull (f/c) eyes where shiny (f/c). "Thank you guys." She said. She then kissed me. I was surprised at first but I then kissed back. We hear some aww's and a camera going off. We broke the kiss and turn to see everyone cheering. I was red as a tomato. And angry. "WHY GUYS!?!?" I yell cause everyone to laugh  nervously and run away.

(Y/N) Pov.
I chuckled at his anger. "Your cute when angry. You know that right." I said and blushed. He blushed and smiled. "I know sugarplum." He said as he kissed my nose. We then go to his home and cuddled the rest of the day.
