Dipper's POV

It's been four years since Weirdmaggedon. Four years since me and Mable stepped into Gravity Falls. After that summer, me and Mable got closer... but her being a social butterfly, and me being an outcast, her and I don't get to hang out much anymore. In these four years, we drifted apart.

I've been writing on my journal for the last four years now and successfully wrote all of Gravity Falls' mysteries that I know of and encountered. Even the ones in Weirdmaggedon. It looks like Grunkle Ford's, but blue. And instead of six fingers, there's a silver pinetree. Inside the Pine tree there's a number 6. Yes, I'm already writing on my sixth journal. If we include all the monsters in Weirdmaggedon, there's a lot.

And, the one thing different about my journal and Grunkle Ford's? All of them are coded. I used a self made cipher, and memorized it. I just thought that, Ford's journals can easily be read by anyone. So, I just made it a little bit harder to read for anyone who doesn't know my code. And, only I know my code.

I've been sitting here on the school's garden for thirty minutes now, while taking bites out of my sandwich that Mable packed for me. And, yes. It has pink edible glitter. It's currently lunch period, so everyone is either in the cafateria or went out for lunch.

Three of my journals are just like what is written on Ford's destroyed journals. The fourth one is all about the monsters in Weirdmaggedon. The fifth one is for.. well, my theories. Let's just leave it at that. And, my latest journal that's sitting on my lap right now is about a certain dream demon.

I should've written this years ago, but.. I wanted his journal number to be six. Ya know? For the devil?

After finishing my sandwich, I put back the journal in my brown leather string bag. I stood up and put on my hood.

For the past four years, I've only been wearing black skinny jeans, a hoodie, and shirts. The hat I exchanged with Wendy was just always at home.

No one has really bothered to befriend or bully me since we went back. Before going to Gravity Falls, I was a wimp.

I got bullied often, which I never told Mable, of course. But, when we went back, I told them to leave me the fuck alone. Of course, they didn't agree and tried to physically abuse me, but I fought back this time. And, lets just say that, after that? No one ever tried to bully me again.

I sent the guy to the nurse's office bruised up and with a broken nose. A lot of people saw, too. Mostly boys. He was twice my size back then, but I beat him up. No one dared to cross me ever again. And, I guess I like it that way.

So, for the past four years, I've been alone. I've missed all the mysteries and weirdness in Gravity Falls. California is just so... normal.

I started walking to my next class which is AP History. Not to brag, but almost all my classes are AP honestly. I only share one class and my only non-AP class with Mable, which is PE.

Sure, puberty hit me. I'm a lot taller now, I look a bit thin, but trust me. I've been working out. Its just not obvious, because my hoodie is always baggy.

I was about to open the door to my class, when someone called me.

"Dip-dop!" I heard a loud cheery voice. I turned to look at her. I still have fifteen minutes before class anyways. And, its not like I have anything to do.

"Yes, Mabel?" I asked. Mable has matured in her fashion sense a lot, but she still has her childish ways. It gets annoying, but I love that about her. She's wearing a black skirt, long white socks, and boots. She's also wearing a pastel pink shirt with a star design and a checkered flannel on her waist.

"Well, can I borrow one of your hoodies?" she asked with a pout. I suddenly got confused.

One of my hoodies? Of course she knew I always brought an extra hoodie at my locker, but I mean... What would she do with my hoodie?

"Uhh--why?" I asked her, confused. "Well.. it's a bit chilly today, and my flannel isn't exactly thick.." she pouted while looking at her hands, and I rolled my eyes. "What's the actual reason?" I said and she finally looked at me with a sheepish smile.

I knew itttt!!

"Actually, my friend has a crush on you!! And, I told her I'll let her borrow one of your hoodies today for four bucks!" she grinned sheepishly and I let out a chuckle. "You know the password," I told her and she cheered with her fist in the air. She started running off to where my locker is.

"And, you're giving me half!!!" I yelled out to her as she ran. "Okay, bro-bro!!!!" I faintly heard her yell and I chuckled a bit before going inside my next class.

"Hurry up, Dipper! The Vampire Diaries is starting soon!" she yelled in her car. I quickly opened the passenger seat and closed the door before Mable started driving. Mom and dad got us our own vehicles. Mom got her this pastel pink car and dad got me a black motorbike. But, since I'm too lazy to drive, I just give Mable some money for gas.

"Mom! Dad! We're here!!" we yelled at the same time.

"Oh, kids.." my mom said with a certain tone. Mable quickly dropped her bag and hugged her. I gently put down my bag and went beside dad, who's beside mom.

"What happened, mom..? Why are you crying?" Mable asked. I looked at dad for an explanation and he gave me the 'I'll tell ya later, now shh' look. I rolled my eyes at dad.

"Well, me and your dad have a job opportunity.." dad said when mom finally calmed down.

"Isn't that nice! Mom and dad have a promotion!" Mable cheered and I just smiled at her antics. Mom and dad shared a glance, which got my attention.

"There's a catch, isn't there?" I said and everyone's attention at me. "Mason, always the sharp one," mom sighed. "Your dad and I got a job opportunity, and its..."

"Where, mom?" Mable asked.

"It's in Vietnam," dad spoke for mom.

"And.. me and your dad have been thinking.. Your gruncles' won't mind you there, right..?"

My eyes slowly went wide and a smile was slowly appearing on my face.

"YES!!!! WE'RE GOING TO GRAVITY FALLS! FINALLY!!!" I started to yelling and jumping around with my fist in the air.

We're finally going back!

Mable's POV

"I've never seen him this happy in years.." mom said, "He's always just in his room, and only comes out when called," she continued. I smiled at my brother. It's been a while since I've seen his genuine happiness. A while since I've seen him so excited.

And, I know that smile. A smile when he's so fascinated. He must've missed all of those mysteries.

"So, what do you say, darling? You're brother looks more than eager to," dad asked me while Dipper was still cheering.

I put on a smile, "Sure!! I've missed Gravity Falls, too! Haven't seen Candy and Grenda in a while!"

Looks like the mystery twins are coming back to town.
