5- The Archer

"My life is cursed." Su Ho muttered to himself.

He went out for a stroll by escaping through the paper windows. He couldn't stand the suffocating air of his room.

Eversince his father sailed the sea and gained his wealth for them to live, everything changed. He become selfish in his own adventure in life, not knowing what he might be doing in the different country's docks. His mother couldn't stand him that's why she disappeared without a trace.

"She left because of you." His father's voice replayed in his mind.

Even though he knew that it wasn't his fault, a pang of pain hits him everytime he remember those blames.

He wiped his tears as he looked up to the sky. Preventing himself to cry.

"Son, look up" his father held Su Ho's small hand and pointed up to the sky.

"Dad, it looks beautiful!"

"Yes, can you see those twinkling stars? Those are our guides to our destination when we sail the seas. "

"Really? Wow I wish I could be with you, and also mom." Poor Su Ho pouted.

"Son, there will be a time for that, but for now the land is for you, always be a good boy and take care of your Mom."

"Yes Captain!"

"There will be a time, I may sail the seas too and travel the lands, to find Mom." He said to himself.

He pulled himself together as his mind was in peace. He decided to head back home.

When he was walking, he felt eerie, as if someone was there watching or waiting.

He fastened his pace, not wanting himself to be in fights or trouble again.

As he walked, in the corner of his eye, he noticed something that jumps from roof to roof of the house.

Alarmed, He ran off !

The thing continues to chase him in his peripheral vision.

Ahead, there were torches that lit up the streets.

He pushed himself to get there quick. As soon as he got there, he sticked to the wall and pulled out a torch for defence.

He awaited for an attack but everything was dead silent. He could feel his heart pounding with his breath that became short.

He looked around and scanned everywhere. Turning to left, turning to the right, turning up- Ohoh!

"Ahh!" He gasped as he saw a woman on the tree.

When he was about to run off, an arrow striked to him but he bent. His upper shoulder was hit to the wall, lucky him, only the fabric was penetrated but he was pinned on the wall.

The woman jumped off and landed in the ground.

"What do you want woman!?" He asked aloud with a trembling voice.

"Well, give me everything you have there, or you won't see the light of day." She threatened.

He heard the strings of bow being pulled as her shadow shows that she's gonna shoot him again. She pointed the arrows to him.

"No,no please! Don't ! I'll give what you want." Min Ju said.

She saw her silhouette lowering down her bow.

"Step in to the light, come close, I'll give it to you." He said pulling out his purse of gold coins.

She have heard the clanking of those and made her tempted.
