Chapter 2

I pulled into our drive way and helped Emma with our drinks while John and Isaac raced with our food inside. "Be careful with the food you guys!" Emma yelled at them as she ran behind them.

I walked into the kitchen and John and Isaac were already stuffing each other's faces with fries.
"Arve youv voing out tomigh" Isaac said with fries in his mouth.
"Eww Isaac, chew and swallow bud" I said to him as I covered my eyes.
"And yes I am" as I said that my phone rang "Matt" it said on the screen.

"I'll take this in the other room" I said standing up.
"Hello"
"hey babe I'm picking you up at six so be ready by then" I took the phone of my ear and looked at it as if it was growing a head. He's acting like nothing happened, but I guess it for the best.
"Uh yeah that's fine I'll be ready"

"ok babe love you"

"love you bye" I walked back into the kitchen and sat down next to Emma. "What did he say?" Emma asked as she took a bit out of her nugget.
"That he's picking me up at six, I'm going to put on some music." I reached for my phone and click on my music. It's full of one direction and other artist like 5sos, Demi, maroon5, Ed, and many maaaany more, but I have all fours of 1D's albums. I kept scrolling down until I found the perfect song to sing. I closed my eyes and began. "Who's gonna be the first one to start the fight?

When I finished I opened my eyes I saw that Emma, Isaac, and John were standing up applauding me. Even though they're my family I still get embarrassed when someone hears me sing.
"Jesus Angie why haven't you signed up for that small concert they're having at the fair next month.?" Emma asks.

"You know I hate being in front of people, I get all red and my voice gets shaky" I said looking down at my food. "Dude you have an awesome voice" Isaac said throwing a fry my way. I just laughed and continued eating.

Six came a little quicker then I imagined I had already dropped of John at Amanda's game, and hurried into the shower and changed my clothes. I changed into dark jeans, my converse, and a blue long sleeve shirt, along with my black scarf. I applied mascara and eye liner quickly because it now was 5:59 and Matt was going to be here any minute.

6:30 came around and no sign of Matt. Not even a call or text. I was ready to go upstairs and go to bed and watch "This Is Us" with my sister, when my phone rang.
"Hello" I answered without checking who it was.
"Heeeey girl." Danika.
"Hey Danika"
"where are you we're waiting for you" she sounded a little drunk.
"I'm at my house waiting for Matt" I said a bit sad.
"Well don't wait up and get your ass to matts house we're all over here having a small kick back, didn't Matt call you," she asked slurring her works.
"Uh no, but I'll be there in an hour" I hung up on her and made my way to the kitchen to grab my keys. I was so pissed that no one bothered to call me and say we weren't going as planned. I called jasmine to see if she wanted to go with me to this stupid kick back. She said yes so I picked her up and made my way to matts house.

When we got there only 4 cars where there. We made our way to the door and knocked. Matts mom opened the door and greeted us.

"Oh girls good thing you're here, the boys are out back" she said with a smile and hugged both of us. You see jasmine is also dating matts brother Andrew.
We made our way to the back yard where they had a bonfire and about all our friends were there. Coolers full with beer and wine coolers to the left of them and music coming out of Andrews Camaro.

Right aways I could tell everyone was drunk except Andrew. Sometimes I think he's more mature then Matt, even though Matt is 23 years old. I said hi to everyone and when I was going to say hi to Matt Andrew pulls me by my arm and whispers in my ear,
"just a heads up, Matt is really drunk right now, so just be careful" I looked up at him and gave him a thankful smile.
"Hey babe" I said to Matt and kissed him.
"Heeeeey it's my girlfriend, how are you babe" I tried to keep my cool and just said fine.

It was 12:30 and we were all having a good time, that's until Matt started to bring up the little incident that happens earlier.
"You know what you're so annoying when you hear them, you know damn well I hate them," he said trying to pick a fight, that's all he does when he gets drunk, is pick a fight with me.
"You know I like their music" I said as calm as possible.
"No you like them because you think they're hot" I was getting really tired of him being like this all the time.
"You know what Angie, I don't need you in my life," I looked at him carefully studying his words.
"I don't need you you're annoying, and I'm sick and tired of it"
"don't say shit you'll regret tomorrow Matt" I said to him.
"Trust me the only thing I'll regret is this fuckn hangover." looked over to Andrew and jasmine and they only gave me sympathetic looks, and Andrew looked at Matt.
"Matt come on bro just stop."
"dammit just shut up, all of you, especially you," he pointed at me.

"Matt honestly stop before you say shit you'll regret"
"I already told you the only thing I'll regret tomorrow Angie, so just leave my house and don't come back, ever, I mean it."
he said taking another sip of his beer. I looked at him and thought to myself that this was the last time he would do this to me and healed back my tears.

"Ok if that's what you want then fine, just don't call me tomorrow saying you're sorry." I said with teary eyes. I looked at jasmine and asked if she was going home with me or staying with Andrew. She said she'd stay with him, I gave her a small nod. I looked at Andrew and said, "make sure he doesn't call me tomorrow will you" I said sadly.
"Sure thing Angie, drive home safely" I gave him a small smile and made my way into the house to say bye to matts mom. As I was saying bye Matt stumbles in catching himself by the kitchen table.

"What the hell are you still doing here?! I told you to leave?" He yelled at me in front of his mom.
"I should leave Mrs. Torres, bye." I hugged her and ignored matts yelling I hurried out to my car and saw Matt coming out of the house yelling after me. I backed up as fast as I could and drove off.
I couldn't think straight while driving, I had all these thoughts in my head. And on top of that I was asking myself why Matt was like that to me. I decided to plug in my phone to the stereo and listen to 1D. I speed threw the street, when *Night Changes* came one. I stopped at a red light,

Having no regrets is all that she really wants" Liam's voice is so sweet. Here came Harry's part. I was to distracted listening to the song that I hadn't noticed the light turn green. I put my foot on the gas pedal slowly, last thing I remember hearing was

Then everything went black.
