My feet stop moving.. A cold tremor runs down my spine like ice-water. 'No! I can't tell her now! S-She won't like me anymore afta' hearin' what I've done!' Suddenly my ears pick up on screaming whispers in the back of my mind. Aggressive.. terrified... pleading.
'Pearl will think I'm just obsessed! O-Or that she's just Pink's replacement to me or somethin'! I CAN'T TELL HER! I CAN'T!!!'

I look up and Pearl's facial expression reflected the horror in my eyes. 'Why... why am I on the floor?'
"SPINEL!! --SOMEONE HELP! PLEASE!"
'Pearl! Pearl why are you shouting! I'm okay! I'm f- aAGHHH!!' A tidal wave of pain washed over me coming from my gem. Yellow and Blue Pearl appear in my vision, I can hear Yellow Diamond's heels as she rushes to my side as well.
...Thud... Thud... THUD!!!
"Spinel!!!"
I hear Pink Pearl cry out my name one last time before everything went white...
...tap...tap...tap...
"Spinel?...."
"Where are yooouuuu~?"
"You can't hide forever you know! Hahaha!"

"Here I am my Diamond!"

"Wonderful! Now it's my turn!"

~Pink Pearl's POV~
"Spinel? Oh thank Stars! Girls! She's waking up!" I sit on my knees next to where Spinel is lying down. She still looks half asleep.. "She is?!" Yellow and Blue Pearl blurt at the same time. "I will go inform the diamonds immediately!" Yellow Pearl exclaims and runs to the warp behind us. "I'll go too. I hope Spinel recovers by the time they arrive." Blue Pearl says, gracefully sprinting off after Yellow Pearl.
I watch them as the warp's light travels with them, then once they're gone I feel two snake-like arms wrap around me. "Hum?" My shifts focus back onto Spinel, who now looks fully awake. I could feel warm water seep into the cloth on my shoulder.
But this time... something about this encounter seems genuinely happy... "Pearl...?" She whispers with a small smile. I nod, waiting for her question politely before I ask her more questions. Her hold on me tightens and her body relaxes with a short sigh.
"Thank you... Thank you for staying."
