Oscar's POV

I was just about to head downstairs to make myslef some breakfast when I noticed that Andie left her favorite necklace on my bed. I debated whether to to go drop it off or just wait until later. I had to go to the store anyway, so I decided to drop it off. I pull on some joggers and put on a black shirt with no sleeves. I put on my shoes and grabbed on to my sweater.

I thought that I would see her walking down the block. She left about five mintues ago, and I was hoping to catch up with her. But I didn't see her. Was she in a hurry or something? I continued down two more blocks until I got to her house. I noticed the door was a crack open. I don't worry about it too much. I made my way toward the door. I was just about to push open the door when it swung open. It was Andie. She ran straight into me, unaware that I was standing there in the first place. She let out a whimper as I grabbed her shoulders, preventing her from going any farther. "Babe, what's wrong?" I ask. She was still for a moment. I lifted her chin so she could look at me. My attention goes straight to her lips. Blood.

She jerks her face away from me. "Oh my god, what happened? Answer me Andie." She still said nothing, and looked as if she would burst into tears at any moment. I pull her into my chest and wrap my arms around her. "It's okay," I reassure her. I learned from previous times that if she doesn't answer me after two tries of getting her to answer me, that she doesn't want to talk at the moment.

We go back to my house, silent the whole way. Andie was speeding ahead of me, as if she really wanted to get away from her house. We get there in about five minutes. It would've took longer if she wasn't walking so fast. She was so anxious to get in that she tugged at the doorknob before I could unlock it. Once I did, she ran in plopped down on the couch, squealing as she did. She lifted her shirt and revealed a huge bruise. It was yellow and purple, surrounded by a bit of blue. It took up at least have of her stomach.

I take a long look at it, then I focus my attention to her face, which showed obvious signs of pain. I knew then that today was going to be a long day.
