Chapter Ten: It Happened In The Woods

((This chapter is kinda a mess, but bear with me guys, with the virus going around, this is kinda the only thing that makes me happy since I wont be able to see my friends, so this chapter might be rushed right to the Drarry. But I hope you understand, just enjoy this chapter before I get carried away about talking about my life))

Harry thought about it for a minute, maybe he should embrace it. Not to say you only get one mate, if your even lucky enough to have a mate. Not all people just wake up one day and figure out that they have a mate.

Harry made a decision, he got up and grabbed his wand. He was going to go find Draco and apologize for ignoring him earlier.

Harry walked down the stairs after leaving the Gryffindor common room, feeling as if he knew where he was going. He walked down a hallway, that lead to a pathway, that lead into the forest. He took a deep breath, then walked into the forest, sensing he was close.

It wasnt long before he had spotted Malfoy in the distance. He ran up to him and hugged him from behind. Draco whipped around and froze when he saw Harry.

"Potter!? What are you-"

"I'm sorry Draco, I didnt mean to ignore you earlier, I didnt know what to think, and I just- you only get one mate, and I came to find you to apologize. I think ignoring it would just-"

"Potter slow down! And please let go of me" Draco said, a slight tint of pink showing on his face.

Harry let go of the hug and sat down.

"Malfoy, all I'm saying is that you only get one mate, and I think- I think I just want to embrace it" Harry said looking at Draco.

Draco looked shocked, making Harry kinda regret doing this.

"Potter, do you mean embrace it as in..." Draco said

Harry nodded his head, now avoiding any eye contact.

Malfoy stood there for a second, not knowing what to say, he turned around not wanting to look at Harry.

Harry felt his heart drop, he got up and accidentally stepped on a twig, making a snapping sound. Draco turned back around, and Harry took that chance. He pressed his lips against Draco's, suprising Draco. But Draco adjusted and kissed back.

While kissing Draco, Harry had decided that being Draco's mate wouldn't be as bad as he had thought.

Harry pulled away, stepping back a little bit. He looked at Malfoy, who was slightly touching his bottom lip, indicating that he might have liked the kiss.

Harry slightly smiled and turned around.

"Meet me here tomorow" He said before walking off.

Harry walked out of the woods and headed back to Gryffindor Tower, a little happier than usual. Harry met Hermione in the common room, and he happily greeted her. She looked at him strangely, but it didnt bother Harry, he wanted to stay happy for as long as he could.
