Welcome. Take a moment to comprehend what I am about to ask you.

What are humans?

The scientific definition, "any individual of the genus Homo, especially a member of the species Homosapiens.

A person, especially as distinguished from other animals or as representing the human species..."

People will tell you humans are highly advanced organisms shaped by years of evolution. Others may tell you they're a god's creation. By either view, humans today are simply upgrades or new models of previous species alike. Though, this choice of words is appalling. Usage of such words make humans similar to objects. Similar to machines.

And thus would be absolutely correct.

As vulgar as it may sound, humans and all species of the world are nothing more than machines. Mankind has advanced over time making their past counterparts out to be barbaric, but even they were technologically advanced. Humans create, yes, but to make such creations humans must be a part of the assembly line. Becoming the tools to make their tools.

With such greatness, they're flawed. Heavily flawed. Made up of electrical signals and neurotransmitters allowing them to complete daily activities, they must continuously carry out tasks in order to keep their functions at peak performance. Failure to do so causes drawbacks. Delay combined with limited time throughout their days lead to incompletion.

One of the biggest contributors to these errors has been human emotions. People exhibit emotions constantly. Even though they are capable of sharing the same feelings, some do not have the capacity to properly handle them whether it be their own feelings or someone else's.

It is my job to understand human emotion, lack thereof, and how to manipulate them.
