Peyton:
"Get up lazy!"My best friend, Riley, said as she pulled my dirty blonde hair.

"Ow!Why do I need to wake up?"

"Adopters are here!" She said excitedly. I sighed and rolled over. She knew I wasn't coming downstairs. After five minutes Melinda, who is basically my mom, came in. She worked for the orphanage, and it was written in her destiny to make sure I was adopted.

"Come on sweet pea." She pleaded. I groaned and she angrily sighed. "Peyton Elizabeth. Get up and get ready." Giving in at the use of my middle name, I got up and began dressing. But just because I was dressed, doesn't mean I'm going downstairs.

"I'm not going down there." Mel laughed sarcastically and lifted me up. I was wriggling in her grip. We finally got to the door of the main room and she set me down. I glared and walked inside. Standing in the room, I looked at all the happy couples walking around and meeting the other girls. Would I ever get adopted?

Jc:
I was more than excited walking into the orphanage. I had wanted to adopt a son or daughter for a while now. But obviously, girls were more dominant in this orphanage. Ricky was with me and we were walking around in the main room meeting all the girls that wanted to get adopted. I never expected girls who wanted to be adopted to be so...sexual to try and get a home. I noticed a short blonde girl standing on her own, every couple walking right by her.

I pulled Ricky towards her, and when she saw us coming at her, she had a curious look on her face. "Hi, I'm Jc. This is Ricky." I said sticking my hand out.

"I-I'm Peyton. I don't mean to sound rude, but are you guys..." My eyes widened when I realized what she meant.

"Oh, no!" Ricky said. "I'm just a friend helping out."

"I like your lisp." Peyton said with a smile. Ricky blushed. Before I could continue talking to Peyton, a brunette girl ran up to Peyton.

"Peyton on getting adopted!" Peyton's smile widened, but her eyes glazed over. She pulled the girl into a hug.

"I'm so happy for you Riley! That's amazing." Riley smiled and walked away, to a Hispanic looking woman.

"So Peyton," I started. "What do you like to do?" She pondered on the thought.

"Well, I like to sing, ride my penny board, and film mini movies." I smiled. Sounded like the perfect daughter.

"That is honestly really weird because I like to do that stuff. Well, minus the singing." She laughed. "But um...Can I adopt you?" Her eyes widened.

"Really?"

"Yeah. You seem awesome." She nodded her little head so fast I thought it would fall off. Lets hope, this is the beginning to a great father/daughter relationship.
