"Mark Lee ladies and gentlemen!" The television host announced enthusiastically with a blinding grin, as the crowd cheers echoed through the brightly lit studio. Whistles and screams pierced through the excited chatter as a boy with pitch black hair entered the room, waving at the crowd with a sheepish smile on his face.

"Come come, sit down!" The host encouraged, her hands gesturing for the boy to take a seat in the chair across from her, to which the boy quickly obliged. "Wow... you're even more handsome in real life- your skin is like... flawless! Tell me how you do it???" The woman practically gaped.

"Oh- uh... I have a good skincare routine I suppose?" Mark replied with an awkward giggle. "Aw, give us more than that Mark! What's your secret? A certain food or drink, vitamins maybe?" The host prodded, earning another laugh from the boy across from her.

"I eat a lot of watermelon... maybe that's it?" Mark said thoughtfully, glancing out at the chuckling crowd. "Hear that ladies? Watermelon is the answer to all your skin problems." The host announced, looking towards the camera and then to the crowd, her eyebrow arched playfully.

After quieting down the cheering crowd once more the woman turned to Mark again, "Now now, I heard that this is your first time touring in the states! How does it feel?" She asked, leaning forward in her chair. "Oh great! It's been amazing getting to meet all my American fans, the Asia leg of the tour is coming up soon as well! Im so grateful to have this opportunity." Mark rattled off quickly, his eyes gleaming with joy and the mention of his fans and tour.

"That's awesome to hear!" The host grinned, "Actually before we have you show us your latest single, I had something I wanted to ask you about." She hummed, to which Mark simply nodded, his head tilting slightly in confusion at the sudden announcement; he didn't remember being told about this part of the interview.

"Now, I came across this video recently- surprisingly not too many people have seen it, so I've taken it upon myself to bring it into the spotlight." She said, mischief glinting behind her eyes as the room went dark and a video appeared on the screen behind them.

"-I don't wanna be a one man band, I don't wanna be a rolling stone alone-" a singing voice stuttered to life, as the video faded into view. "I'll lay down the beat, you carry the tune. We'll tattoos and we'll trash hotel rooms~" the voice continued, another voice now joining in and a smiling boy with dark brown hair appearing in the video, his eyes sparkling as he danced around.

"Baby take my hand, I don't wanna be a one man band!" Mark's grinning frame appeared next to the boy, singing into his imaginary microphone, freezing in place when an giggle was heard. A laugh echoed through the crowd as they watched the brown haired boy dive for cover under the table when he heard the voice, the video coming to an end as the boy peered out from under the table, his eyes wide and curious.

The lights in the room flickered back to life, revealing a madly blushing Mark and a smiling TV host. "So... clearly you're there, but who's your boyfriend? You've never told us about him before- have you been holding out on us?!" The host teased, raising an eyebrow as Mark leaned back in his chair, waving his hands around in panic, "No no, he's not my boyfriend!" The boy denied. "That's Haechan, a friend that I lost touch with years ago." He explained, "details Mark! Don't leave us in suspense!" The host pushed on, nodding and smiling as Mark quickly retold the story of meeting Haechan, glancing around as he talked.

"So... you've completely lost him? No phone number? No last name? No... nothing?!" The woman exclaimed, the crowd releasing a chorus of 'aw's' and 'boo's' when Mark shook his head. "And you've remembered him after all this time?" The host asked, the awe clear in her voice.

"Of course! He was so bright and energetic- it's no wonder why he wanted a tattoo of the sun so badly, he was like the human embodiment of every positive thing the sun represents." Mark chuckled, lost in his own little world, remembering his fond memories of the boy he hadn't seen in years. Slowly Mark was beginning to realize how much he had missed the younger, always longing to be able to see the boy again.

"The sun? Don't you have a tattoo of the sun?" The host questioned, pointing to the small sun inked on the inside of the boy's wrist. "Oh? Oh! Yes I do." Mark hummed, tilting his wrist towards the camera so the crowd could get a better look at the delicate looking tattoo.

"To remember Haechan?" The host probed, grinning when Mark bashfully nodded. "Adorable. We NEED to see you two reunited, internet you know what to do." The host exclaimed, turning to the camera before regretfully announcing they had run out of time to talk, and that Mark would be back with his new single after the commercial break.
