"Come on! we're gonna be late if you run that slow!" Says my friend who is running faster than me
"Oh come on, gimme a break alright, i'm not in shape since ever!" I replied while heavily panting
Hold up, let's rewind this a few hours ago, where the day just started
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~A few hours ago~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
??? : "Hey, wake up!"
Gustavo : "Mngghhh, just five more minutes"
??? : "Alright, if that's what you want"
Gustavo : "Yayyy, more sleep"
??? Left the room for a few moments and when Gustavo just starting to doze off again he....
??? : "Hey i told ya to wake up"
He pours a bucket full of water onto me.....
Gustavo : "MOTHERF- ALRIGHT, sheesh I'm up now. What is it??"
??? : "You don't seem to be fully awake but i'll take it for now. We need to get ready, class is starting in 20 minutes"
Gustavo : "......."
??? : "......."
Gustavo : "WHY THE HECK DIDN'T YOU WAKE ME UP SOONER??!!"
??? : "First of all, ouch my ear. And secondly, I did but you didn't even respond to me
at all when i tried to wake you up in the past 40 minutes"
Meet, my friend. Or should I say roommate / best friend / older brother from another mother. And his name is Fernando Nicky. While my name is Gustavo Reinhardt
He's a blue house cat, got a noodle tail, red eyes, and he's pretty intimidating if you didn't know him at all. But once you get to know him, he's a lot tamer than he looks
I myself is a wolf x fox hybrid. I know it's a bit confusing but my mother is a fox while my father is a wolf. Long story short my mother died when i was little and my father got abusive so i move out to my grandma and now move out on my own. Met Fernando and since then, we became best friend.
So we ended up rushing to get ready. And with 10 minutes left on the clock, we grab some bread that we have and ran to our highschool (Which is about 20 minutes walk if we walk like usual)
Fernando : "Come on! We're gonna be late if you're running that slow!"
Gustavo : "Oh gimme a break! I'm never in shape and you know that!"
As we ran and ran, while myself is heavily panting trying to catch up with Fernando (Seriously, how did he even managed to run that fast??) we heard the school bell rings and saw that the gate is being closed by one of our teacher
Fernando : "COME ON! JUST A BIT MORE IF YOU DON'T WANT TO DETENTION!"
Gustavo : "ALRIGHT, YOU DON'T HAVE TO SHOUT!"
Well, the good thing is we managed to squeeze through the gate that was closing and got in the class as soon as possible. The bad thing is, i feel tired, sick, sweaty, and hungry at the same time.
Fernando : "Phew, that was a good workout huh?"
Gustavo : "Hahh.... A good workout huh??.... As if.... I feel like i'm gonna hurl anytime"
Fernando : "Oh damn, guess you're not doing well with workout huh. I'll try to talk to the teacher and accompany you to bathroom then the infirmary if ya like"
Gustavo : "Nah, just to the bathroom is fine. I'll get to class as soon as i feel better"
Fernando : "Alright then, if that's what you want then it's fine by me"
We walk to the bathroom as I try to catch my breath and not throw up at the same time. Thankfully, I feel better after my breathing is calm
Gustavo : "Alright, I'll live"
Fernando : "You sure? You still don't look to good"
Gustavo : "Yeah I'm sure, I know my own body. I'll be fine"
Fernando : "Alright then, shall we go to the classroom then? I heard someone is transfering to our class today"
Gustavo : "Oh? Do tell me the details later then. First, let's just walk to the class"
Fernando : "Snrk.... Alright we'll walk and won't run"
Gustavo : "Thank you for finally giving me a break"
And that's how our first morning went by. Me getting sick and out of breath
