Chapter 8 Childhood Friend

    "What were you doing here, Zān? If we hadn't noticed your scream, you could have been dead already, beaten up by those bandit," Amy asked with worried tone. "Actually...I was requested by my village elder to the Vallion City to give this sword to the commander when I got unlucky and attacked by those bandits," Zān said and he shows his sword to everyone. "It is said that this sword imbued with the power of Wind," Zān said. "Wow...," everyone look in awe. After they look, they walk away from the sword. "But I never gone out from home so I never knew where the city is," Amy says. "I've heard of them. They said the kingdom was located north of this path. Just follow this path to the north past the Elf village and you will reach the Vallion Kingdom," Sieg said. "All right then, let's follow the road to the north!" Amy said. Everyone follow the road to the north. Few hours later, they arrive at Elf village. At the Elf village, a young Elf with short pointy ears runs toward Zān. "Zān! Hey!" the young man says, waving his hand. "San! Long time no see," Zān says. San stop in front of him. "Who is this?" Zeke says. "This is San, he live in this village. He is my childhood friend. It was when the first time I went here and met him," Zān says. San look at Zān with sparkling eyes and says," By the way, Zān. Can I come with you? I got little bored in this village so I have decided to travel with you," San said. "But San, what about the rule of this village? Are you going to break the first rule?" Zān said. "But...," San muttered. San's twinkling eyes fade and he looks down. Amy shows confused face and asks," Rules? What is the first rule of this village?". "First rule: "No one leaves this village unless it was an emergency"," Zān explained the rule. "But I still want to go", San said. "Finley...What do you think?" Zeke says. "It's fine...I think. But we need to do it quietly," Amy said. "All right then. Zān, Finley has decided to let him join us", Zeke says. "What! Are you sure?" Zān asked. Amy nods at him. "Well I don't really like the rule, though. After all...even if that rule really exist in my home, I would have ignore the rule anyway," Amy says. "Yay!" San jumped happily. Everyone decides to stay at the Inn and wait until night. At night...while the guard sleeps, Amy and the other sneak past the guard. Outside the gate, Amy opens her black hood. "(Sigh)..." Amy says. "(Sigh) we're safe...," San says. "Alright, we made it out of the village. Let's head straight to Vallion !" Sieg says. Syphoon screeches loudly, it hurt Amy's ear. Amy and the others continue their journey. "Hey, Finley...," San called. "What?" Amy asked. "What is that falcon's name?" San says. Amy's falcon screeches. "Syphoon. His name is Syphoon," Amy says. "Hello Syphoon," San says. Syphoon screeches. "(Laugh) He said the same thing to you," Amy says. And then the falcon turn back and stare sharply. "Hmm? What is it, Syphoon?" Amy asked and looked at the falcon. She follows the falcon's stare, the other look at Amy. "Something's wrong," Amy says. "What is it, Finley?" Zān says. Amy ignores what Zān said and run toward the sound. "Finley, wait!" Sieg said. She casts Fuse spell from the tip of her index finger. Light appears around her and the falcon and she became a Griffin. Amy flies toward the sound. She flew with the speed of light. "(Groan) now we got trouble with something she knows," Zeke said. "That sound...It leads to Infinite Magic School, don't tell me...! Zeke, let's follow him!" Sieg said. "Right, Older Brother Sieg!" Zeke said. Zeke wrap his arms tight on Sieg's hip and fly toward Infinite Magic School while carrying him. "That way, Zeke!" Sieg commanded him. "Right away, Brother Sieg!" Zeke obeyed. Zeke flies to the way Sieg pointed at. Everyone follows the twins. Meanwhile...Amy reaches the School. "The school!" Amy said, she flew down and landed near the sound. She ducked toward the bush and looks from afar. She sees a devil gone rampage, and Amy surprise when she sees the devil attack her friend including Husky. Amy quickly returns back to normal and threw the knife from her knife holder. The devil surprise when he see a knife nearly hit him. "Stop!" Amy says, came out from the bush. A dragon appears in front of him, halting his advance. "Dakurona! So you're the one causing this entire ruckus!" Amy says. When he sees Dakurona, he attacks him aggressively. Dakurona vanishes and appear in front of Infinite Magic School. Durabel grabs Amy and throws her toward Dakurona but he dodged it. Amy immediately casts her barrier and endures every wall she crushes to the last wall. "Ah! Gh!" Amy endured. Amy flung backward after she crush the wall and nearly fell off the cliff. She holds the cliff edges before she could fall. Amy turns and pulls herself up. ".........Kh....." Amy crouches, her left eye closed. Amy runs toward the dragon. While she runs, she whistles toward the falcon. Her falcon screeches and she throws her knife. Her knife missed, Amy growls angrily. Amy's friend finally arrived.
