Sooooooooooooooooooooo I've gone this far already. This was pretty hard to write because it's basically the first climax of the story.

The quiet chatter between the Dursleys fell silent when Draco and his mother made their way inside the room. His father was seated at the table with a mug of what muggles name coffee with stiff shoulders and a stoic expression on his features. " Good morning Draco " he sounded gloomy and on edge " are you ready ? " appended him with a sharp glance.

Mrs Dursley must've interpreted the question as if they were going to leave and hurriedly told them that there was no necessity for such haste and that they can stay for breakfast. Oh if she only comprehended of what was about to befall and what that question really intended ... She began rambling about how they still had a lot of breakfast left from yesterday and how it would still taste as great as ever. She pilled the table with surprisingly appealing food. He just hoped it was secure.

Draco relucantly accepted a cup of tea and sat down opposite his father and next to his mother. When the whale man sat down, his father gave him and his mother a curt nod that informed them that they should prepare themselves for anything to come from now on. Draco prayed to Merlin and all that was magic that today would act out as smooth as possible and that they would be capable to achieve their self-imposed mission. All of the stress induced by this put great restraint on his magic and already unstable emotional and mental state. He couldn't wait for it to be over. His summer was already ruined, why did this have to occur and worsen it? His mind darted to a particular pair of misty green eyes and his case of mind instantly soothed down. He was stunned by their influence on him. How unusual to think about them in this situation...

They waited for a while because the Dursleys refused to let them touch the meal until their beloved Dudley would wake up. When the mass of endless fat showed up, everyone was eventually seated at the table. His father inhaled and outfitted his magic to cast the crucial spell needed, the manipulation spell. The kind of spells that alter the subconscious state of multiple people at a time can drain the caster out of strength and magic, so his father was placing himself in great danger, especially that he had to cast some other spells later on, along with the additional ones that he may have to use for maintaining them shielded.

The room abruptly decreased dramatically in temperature and a tense, clouded atmosphere developed around the kitchen as a murmured incantation could be heard and a great surge of magic enveloped the room. The Dursley household's eyes became glassy and their features moulded into the same, neutral expression and their backs straightened, as anticipating orders. The spell was placed successfully and there was no going back. Draco realised that, in fact, from the moment he first chose to investigate the suspicions about the wizard there was no going back for him.

His father suddenly sucked in a startled breath and whisper-yelled " There's something already interfering with their minds " he deadpanned while running a hand through his long, silver hair " A manipulation spell was already placed on them years ago " he shut his eyes " and an awful powerful one, that is ". His mother asked with a low, unsteady voice if it would give them any difficulties. His father just tightened his eyes and, after a few moments, he shook his head. "How about we begin ?" he said. It wasn't a proposal. There was no refusing.

"So, Ms Dursley " he addressed the man " we have an essential matter to discuss " he paused briefly" It's about your nephew ". The man started trembling a bit as if struggling to resist the spell, but otherwise opened his mouth to speak " I don't see what could be so serious about the freak" he asserted while a look of hatred adorned his face when mentioning 'the freak'.

" Well," his father scrunched his nose " we know about him " he hesitated a second " being a wizard " he trailed off. Draco held in an inspiration. This couldn't be happening. Mrs Dursley's breath hitched and the glassy eyes vanished for a second " What are you implying ? " she demanded in a sceptical tone while putting her hands on the table. They took the bait.
