Chapter 6

"Good afternoon (Y/N)" Tatara said with a camera.
"Tatara, what's with the camera?" You asked.
"Today is a new day! As a new member, you should come with us to the city!" He said putting down the camera. Tatara was a very cheerful guy, the type of guy that sees the glass of water half full. He always made me smile and happy. It was like his magical power.

"The city? What for?" You tilted your head.
"Well, we usually walk around a certain part of the city. It's like a health thing I guess." Tatara smiled.
'Why does this feel sketchy?' you shrugged that rather quickly. " I would love to go out... I should also get new clothes." you looked down at the clothes you wore from yesterday. And then you realized you had no money. You sink into the couch.

"Hey don't worry, Mikoto will help to get you new clothes. He got me new clothed when I was a new member. Though I already had clothes too." He giggled.

'He's so cute!' you couldn't stand it. He was adorable!

You've been here for over 2 weeks. And you've never felt more at home.

Mikoto even cleared out an old storage room and made a room for her. Though you were quiet weirded out on how you were accepted. I mean seems like a little fantasy in a children's book. You also grew a close bond with everyone. And it was also weird. Back where you live guys would ALWAYS be weird around girls. But they were more respectful. Even...after knowing about the kings, powers, and gangs. This definitely feels like a children's book.

There was a knock on your slightly open door.

"Hey (Y/N), " it was Yata. Not even looking at you. He, on the other hand; was not much of a talker...well when you're around. When you're NOT around. He seemed funny, nice and kind to people, he shouts a lot too, he reminds you of an angry chihuahua.

"Yes, Yata?" he seemed to flinch. "some of the guys left to go...on a walk. And I'm supposed to watch you. So..." You could tell he was shy around girls. Most of the guys told you that already. You understood and didn't want to toy with it like most of the guys do.

He was about to close the door until you shouted. "Wait! Yata!"  you were shocked by your own outburst. He was also shocked. Usually, we would not speak because of this weird boundary but 2 weeks of it. It's been enough for you.

"don't-don't walk away this time. You can't do this every time. Do you just not like me? Did I do something wrong?" you felt like crying but you weren't weak.

He had no thought for words. He stood there not knowing what to do or say. But he did feel bad.

"Listen" he finally spoke. "I-I just...im..." You knew he had nothing to say. "you want to take a walk?" he offered. You were shocked. "finally! Geez does it normally take this long?". With out another word he walked away and you followed afterward.
