Chapter 7

As you walked through the city you can tell Yata was nervous.

"Yata?" You asked.

"Y-" He cleared his throat as he tried to speak again. "Yeah?"

"I'm sorry for having to be here." You truly were sorry. Though you cant tell why you just felt like it was something you had to say.

He stopped walking and looked at the ground. You turned around to look at him confused.

"We are all at Homra because it was the only place left to go. Most of us were broken, damaged, corrupt, or outcast. Either way we were all found by Mikoto. And anyone who is here, and if Mikoto thinks you belong here.." He looked up from the ground and had a serious face that you were familiar with. "Then you have no reason to be sorry." His words felt warm. Yet still felt cold to my heart. I looked to the side of the ground. Your mind was blank.

He walked towards you and stopped. You looked up at him. He was slightly blushing.

"I shouldn't be sorry, (Y/N)." He continued to walk as you followed him. "I'm the one who didn't think you fit to be in Homra But now actually talking to you, seeing you, hearing you. You belong here with us, just like anyone." Yata seemed to studder on some words.

At this moment, you actually felt happy around him. You were glad.

"Hey (Y/N)" Yata looked at you.

'Yeah?" you responded.

"What really brought you here? I found you hungry and dirty, and you clearly weren't from here. So..." Yata asked nervously.

You hesitated and thought about your answer. "Well...Let's just say, where I was from, had me broken. So I decided to run away. Though I wish I had done it sooner, I was careless. I honestly still don't know why I didn't realize what was wrong in the first place. Now I still don't know if I can be fixed. But I know I can hide that part of me. But I'm glad I found a place where I can be okay with who I am. And be surrounded by a family, a real family." You looked at him.

He seemed satisfied with that answer and just continued walking, we talked about the city, places he visits at times, he even showed me around some places of their territory. This was a good night, and hopefully, it will stay that way.

So yeah this is what I got so far. But I will make more for this might in the next chapter, but it might be short. But don't worry you and Yata will grow a close relationship, but more real relationships. Thank you!
