Today dad told me to stay in a huge metal box. It's blue and filled with old milk jugs, cardboard boxes, and tin cans. It smells funny but is much nicer than the green one next to it.
I begged dad to let me go with him this time, but he refused. He said it was too dangerous because I could be taken by a ground vehicle with flashing lights, or we could become separated.
Dad worries a lot. He worries about Aldlight and the people there. I do too, but I am glad we're safe here.
