I will admit it, I missed school quite a bit. Even though this next school is going to be a huge change for me, and all my friends too. I hope I am not the only one feeling nervous about college, day one. Whatever, it will be fine. I am made for this, hell yeah!

*After my first class later that school day*

Fuck! I hate school, summer just had to end so damn early. Is that? Of course it is, who else would wear that iguana button up shirt on the first day of school.

"Tristan!" I walk over more. "TRISTAN" He hears me and turns around.

"Why are you so fucking loud?"

"Why are you so fucking... like here? Trist I thought you were staying down in Tampa for another week?"

"That was the plan, the plans I had on the beach were cancelled because of some disease or virus or some shit. Going around hella fast, and I am not trying to catch anything." Tristan tells me as he sips his morning cup of gas station coffee. Boy has a caffeine addiction for sure. He doesn't really seem like the college type, he gives off a mix of nonchalant and party everyday vibes at the same time somehow.  he is here though none the less, what major? Not too sure, come to think of it, he probably isn't too sure either.

Tristan and I are walking down the hall, and say hi to all the familiar faces per usual until we get to the outside eating area. No one has food or anything, but this is where everyone agreed to meet on the first day at 10:30 am on this Monday morning. Sleep schedule is totally fucked, and it is totally hitting me right now. Already waiting for us at the outside eating table is Jeremiah, as always early for everything.... for no reason.

"Hey, whats up guys!" Jeremiah exclaims as he doesn't even lift his head from his phone.

Tristan and I acknowledge him and sit down at the table. A few seconds pass by and Nate turns the corner with Bri. Now Nate is great, we love Nate, Everybody loves Nate, but Bri? No one can stand her. Except herself of course, her ego is sky high for no reason. Bri follows Nate around everywhere, although he shows her no romantic interest, she has had a thing for him since I met her.

"You guys heard about this virus spreading around? looks super gross." Jeremiah says as he flips over his phone to let us all see the video he was watching.

"That's what was happening down in Tampa bro! Literally the reason I am here right now is to get away from that-" Tristan

"Holy shit Jer! Is that the reason they were talking about doing the first semester of schoolwork online?" Nate says.

       "I think so." Bri says

"Shut the fuck up!" says Max as he approaches the table from the building. This completes the friend circle, and also like I said; everybody hates Bri, but Maximus HATES bri with a fiery passion. His patience with her is little to none, and I can't really blame him.

"You're late." Says Tristan just to bug Max's short temper. Max just makes a face at him and we come back to the topic at hand.

"I doubt they would shut down school over that to be honest. I mean its not even here yet, although school looks surprisingly empty compared to high school. I expected it to be a lot more packed." I said.

"Probably because of the virus, I mean its getting bad down south. Nobody wants to risk THIS." Jeremiah says as he pulls up a picture of an infected patient from Atlanta.

"That is so gross, how can a virus make you look that ugly? I mean, in terms of looks he is on y'alls level more or less." said Bri annoyingly directing her statement at Max, Tristan, and I while immediately looking at Nate with a big smile to see how he took her joke. He wasn't paying her any mind though. She was right on the viral effects being gross, I mean immediate flesh deterioration, projectile vomiting, major memory loss, and cannibalistic tendencies. Worst of all, no one knows what the virus is, how it works, or why it is spreading at such an alarming rate.
