You rushed to open the front door as the frantic knocking pounded through your house. Pulling it open, you were met with an out of breath and pretty panicked Theo.
"Theo? What's going on?" You stepped out onto the porch, placing your hands on Theo's shoulders to get him to sit down in the chair. Theo shook his head, shaking your hands off.
"I'm sorry we keep dragging you into all the drama, but we need you. You're the only level headed one of us and right now, we're all panicking." Theo rushed.
"Let me put on some shoes, you can catch me up on the way." You walked back into your house, grabbing some sneakers. You usually tried to stay out of things. The less drama for you, the better. But being friends with Sabrina meant weird things always happened. Things you couldn't even begin to understand. Of course, you loved Sabrina and the rest of the gang. You would do anything for them. They were your best friends, but sometimes it was all a little too much for you. That didn't stop you from helping whenever they needed you.
As you drove to Harvey's house, Theo caught you up on everything. Roz was turned to stone by some pagan Medusa. Caliban and Sarbrina went to find some spell that could turn Roz back, but they came back to find Roz in pieces. That's why they need you — to help put Roz back together. Everyone was overwhelmed and scared and they needed someone there to calm everyone down. You being that person.
When you pulled in, you and Theo rushed to the garage to put Roz back together. You and Sabrina put the pieces together on a table in the shape of Roz while Harvey, Theo and Robin searched the entire garage to make sure they had every piece. The spell wouldn't work unless she was all there.
"I think that's all of them Harvey. She looks whole again." You said, stepping back to do a once over of your best friend. A whoosh of warmth made your hair fly into your face. You pushed the strands of hair away, catching the eye of Caliban who was holding a jar of something.
"That all of her?" He asked, sitting the jar on the table next to Roz's head. Harvey nodded, telling him that they tore apart the whole garage. He opened the jar of what you assumed was some kind of glue to hold her together. You grabbed paint brushes off of the shelf nearby, handing one to everyone.
"We'll need to take her to the place where you shared your first kiss. Do you know where that is?" He asked once Roz was glued back together.
"Of course. At the school the night of the Valentine's Day dance." Harvey answered.
"Is it close?" Caliban asked, earning a nod from everyone in response.
"Put her in the truck, Harvey. I'll take Caliban to the school to make sure the coast is clear. The last thing we need is to get caught." You said grabbing your keys out of your pocket.
"I'll come too. There's not going to be enough room for four people in Harvey's truck." Sabrina said, following the two of you to the car.
—
"She's not going to be scarred, is she?" Harvey asked as he kneeled in front of Roz.
"No, she won't. Now all you have to do is read this and make your offering — your love for Rosalind." Caliban handed him a piece of paper. Harvey was hesitant at first, but did what he had to do to get Roz back. You watched, heartbreaking for both Harvey and Roz. How was Harvey going to explain to Roz that they can no longer be together in the way that they want to be? All because the pagan's want to wreak havoc on the town of Greendale.
After Harvey kissed Roz, she remained stone.
"Your offer was rejected." Caliban said, "you must not truly love her. There's something or someone else." This was enough to send Harvey over the edge. He jumped up, shoving Caliban roughly into the lockers nearby. You and Sabrina yelled for the two of them to stop.
"Why would I lie?" Caliban yelled, "why would I lie and risk hurting y/n?"
"Caliban, stop." You yelled, pushing him away from Harvey. You weren't quick enough as Harvey's fist connected with Caliban's face.
"Harvey, what the hell?" You said, your hand reached up to look Caliban's face over. Forgetting for a second that he was made of clay and there wouldn't be a mark. He shoves you off gently, teeth gritting as he spewed venom at Harvey.
"Strike me again mortal and I'll grind every bone in your body to sand."
"Caliban, no you won't. Both of you stop." You grabbed Caliban's arm, forcefully tugging him away from Harvey while Sabrina stood in front of Harvey to stop him from taking a step forward.
"What did you say about y/n?" Theo asked. He and Robin stayed by Roz watching as the fight broke out.
"I said, why would I lie and hurt y/n? That's her best friend. I'm going to do everything i can to help, but it's not my fault your offering was rejected. That's on you." Caliban was calmer now. His hand in yours as you squeezed it gently, waiting for your friends to react to what Caliban said.
"That guy you kept talking about. The dates, the gifts left at your locker. That was Caliban?" Sabrina asked. Her eyebrows were creased as she processed the information. Y/n nodded in response, afraid to speak out loud and start another fight.
"Why didn't you just tell us, y/n? We're your friends." Theo asked, seeming a bit hurt that y/n had kept something from them.
"Everyone was so busy with their own problems, I didn't want there to be any trouble. I know you guys don't really like him, but i do and i wanted things to be simple for one."
"I can honestly say i never expected him to be the kind of guy you went for, but if you're happy, so am i." Theo walked over, pulling you into a hug, assuring you that everything was fine between the two of you.
"Um sorry i punched your boyfriend in the face, y/n." Harvey said awkwardly, rubbing the back of his neck.
"If everyone's cool now, i think i might have a solution to the stone problem." Robin announced, breaking up the moment.
