3rd Person Point of View, many years later

Y/n walked into the apartment holding some bills. He was shuffling the pieces of paper when a sick Eliza walked in. "Hey, Liz. All we got is bills, bills, a letter with a six on it, bills." Y/n said, closing his hand of papers. Eliza took note of what he said and yanked the envelopes out of his hands, cutting his thumb. "Ow."

Eliza apologized and sorted the letters, finding the one with a six. She saw that there was a ribbon tied to it. She removed it and another letter fell from behind the original. "No way!" She rasped. "Y/n, we're going to work together!"

"I thought we were?" He said, taking the one with his name on it.

"No, well yeah. But this is different." She said, still wrapped up in her blanket. She earned an "ooh" from Y/n. "This is an invitation to join an elite operations with some of the greatest operatives of the world to stop terrorism."

Y/n clutched his chest and fell on the couch. Eliza ran to him and asked him if he was alright. "I feel good." He mimicked a saxophone. "So good, bum bum, so good, bum bum, I got you." He sang. Eliza was confused by his actions. "Sorry, that's a blues song."

Eliza shrugged and plopped her small frame on the couch with Y/n. They watched TV in silence until Y/n spoke up. "Can I ask you something, Liz?" Y/n received an small nod. "I feel like we've grown close. And I just feel like I.......ask.....if." Eliza was losing interest quick. She was pulled out of her trance by Y/n calling her name.

"Huh?" She asked, adjusting her shades.

"Figured, anyways, I asked if you would like to be my g-woah!" Y/n was caught off guard by Eliza laying on his chest, staring at him with a smug look.

"Took you long enough to see that I was flirting with you. Of course I would." She said , snuggling against his arm.

"Alright, but we better pack. We got a couple of days before we leave."

"What!?" Eliza exclaimed, snatching the letter. "Ugh. We gotta tell the boss tomorrow."

"Ugh, my car hasn't even shipped here. Now we gotta go to Hereford?" Y/n complained, laying his face on the blanket covered shoulder. "Mm mmmm m m mmm mm (It's gonna cost a lot more)"

"Oh yeah, how was work?" Eliza asked, petting Y/n's head.

"Remember Jack, Miles, and Jordan?" He asked, getting a yup from Eliza. "Well we were sent to find some intel on some terrorist threats around the city. We got some leads, but they're under my possession. I need to drop them off to one of the guys."

*timeskip from Eliza eating a sandwich on the counter*

"Why are you eating a sandwich on the counter?" Y/n asked, startling Eliza.

"What?" She asked, pushing her shades up.

"Nevermind." Y/n said as someone knocked on the door. He opened it to find the receptionist. "Hello, what are you doing here?" He asked, getting silence for an answer. She just gave him a small piece of paper with numbers on it and left. He sat on a chair while Eliza still sat on the counter.

"What that?" She asked sleepily.

"Guessing a phone number. Eh, I don't want it. I got you." Y/n smiled, making Eliza feel all warm and fuzzy inside. "Let's go to bed. You look tired.

As she had her shades still on, Y/n didn't notice that she was already asleep. Soft snores escaped from her mouth when Y/n picked her up and set her on her bed. She whimpered when Y/n was close to the door. "Come back, Y/n. Come sleep with meeee." She dragged.

Y/n rolled his eyes and chuckled, laying on Eliza's bed. He pulled her close and put his face in the crook of her neck. Eliza melted at the touch and relaxed. "Night, love." She said.

"Night, shorty." Y/n whispered, getting a small slap on the wrist.
