3rd Person Point of View, March, Operation: Chimera

Y/n and Eliza were on the couch, watching TV when Six called for everyone.

"Will every operator please come to the courtyard. Thank you."

They dress quickly and meet up with everyone at the courtyard. A chopper flew in, landing on a large patch of grass. A Russian woman and a French man hopped off and stood by Six. "These are our two new operators, Finka and Lion."

"Why is Lion here?" Doc aggressively asked, attempting to march to the man.

"Doc, calm down. We are going to New Mexico to investigate a meteor that landed a few days ago. In fact, we need all the help we can get. So I'm asking some of you to join us, we will leave in five hours." Six explained.

*Overlooking ToC, NM*

"Ash, I need you to be leader of operations for these missions." Six said on the phone. Eliza verbally agreed and hung up.

"Well, it looks like there is a local of Truth or Consequences that has recovered the meteor." Eliza looked through the file. "We need to extract the artifact and leave, quickly."

Y/n looked over the file. "What the fuck?" He quietly cursed, grabbing another file. "It seems that ToC is infected with a parasite virus, probably from that artifact. The hospital, junkyard, and a resort are our main focuses in this mission."

"Let's gear up. Maxim, Y/n, and Gustave, you're up." Eliza said, handing them Thermite's charges. "Be careful guys."

They all walk to the chopper and head to ToC. When they landed on top of the street, a screech was heard. Doc shot a creature that jumped towards them. "Damn, there's tangos in our area! They seem to be a zombie-like creature that has spikes for hands." He said on his comm. Doc examined the zombie creature, seeing the multiple sores on it's body. More grunts were heard.

"Get to the resort! There are a few nurseries in there. You need to blow them up with the charges." Thermite called over. He received a "Roger" from the team.

When setting a charge up, Y/n was bitten. He groaned and shot the grunt in the head. "Stupid fucks!" He yelled, unloading his mag into the horde of grunts. "Oh shit." He paused. "Big guy!"

The smasher burst through the wall, shooting wood towards the three. Luckily, the charge blew up and killed the smasher. Once they were done, a call came from Eliza. "Marius is injured, the copter is near a garage, Marius is recovering. He needs backup!"

The team of three found Marius near a house. When asked about the whereabouts of the artifact, Marius pointed to a garage. "Get a carrier over here! The artifact is in this large garage, for now, we are going to holdout." Kapkan reported, getting a go-ahead from another pilot. "What shot you down?"

"Stupid fucking smasher through a chunk of metal and hit the blades." Marius grasped his leg.

"Argh! Fuck!" Y/n said through the pain. "Doc.....I'm infected. But I feel perfectly fine." Y/n grew some of the spikes on his arms. He tossed Marius his weapons and told him to protect himself. "I'm gonna attract more of the meat heads. Tell Eliza I love her." He finally smiled.

"Y/n, no!" Doc yelled, seeing the man run to the fog. "Damnit! Jäger, can you still kick ass?"

Marius stood and nodded. The new trio killed all of the grunts, smashers, and whatever else came about. The carrier came and hooked the artifact on itself. "Go ahead, we are taking a chopper." Doc called through the noise. Another chopper appeared, but before it can take off, a smasher ran to them. Doc and Kapkan started shooting rounds at it, though it did nothing. Right before it can destroy the loading area, another creature jumped on it and tore it apart.

"Run! There is many more!" It said.

"Y/n?!" Eliza said while she was tending to Marius' wounds.

"Eliza. I'm fine, it's just I still have my human thoughts and feelings. Now go!" Y/n the monster hunting zombie thing said. He stabbed another grunt with his arm and screeched at it.

"Y/n, get on!" Doc yelled.

Y/n smiled and walked up to the loading dock. Though he was filled with sores, Eliza tried to hug him. The monster hunter grew more spikes as if on cue. "Sorry, it's a new instinct. Doc what can you do?"

Doc walked around and hummed. "Promise you won't stab me if I examine you?" He gained a nod. "We have a table over here, let's go."

Maxim, Marius, and Eliza followed closely. Doc did a procedure and made a serum quickly. "You had too much zinc in you. We need to extract some." Y/n asked why he was holding two syringes. "The one on my left is if you still want to be full human, the right is if you want the spikes on your arms at your will."

Y/n thought and chose the one in Doc's left hand. He was being held by rope so he wouldn't attack any of the others. Doc quickly jammed the syringe and injected the serum into his arm, earning a yelp and a grunt. "That hurt." Y/n said, taking deep breaths. He was turning back to normal rather quickly.

"Sorry, I didn't want you attacking anyone." Doc apologized.

"Don't be, I see why you did it. Right now, I need rest." Y/n said as a spike disappeared from his hand.

"It should've been powered by your anger. Were you angry when you were bitten?" Doc asked, throwing his gloves away.

Y/n nodded and exited the chopper. Alexsandr looked him up and down. "What happened to you?"

"Long story."

For the next few days, teams of operators cleared the town of the viral infection with the help of a local doctor and Gustave. Once they returned to Hereford, all of the remaining operators that didn't go stood and clapped for them. Marius and Y/n were VIPs, as Marius saved his team multiple times, and Y/n for taking the smasher down in his mutated state.

"I see we had the Wolverine on our side for a bit." Craig joked.

"Watch it, Craig." Y/n laughed,pointing at him.

"Y/n, I think you'll want these." Gustave said, handing him his guns.

"Since you all dodged death multiple times, you may have a month to relax. That is, if you want, you can still work if you choose to." Six explained, leaving for her office.

"I am a monster hunter!" Y/n cheered.

"You're a child, that's what you are." Eliza shot back.

"That too!" Y/n cheered again.

A/n: I'm fresh outta ideas for the gadget, weapons, the codename, and equipment. Give me some ideas for them and I'll choose between them. Cool? Cool. :))
