After a tragic fire, Chloe is shipped off to live with her aunt. She stays inside every day, trapped in her home with no connection to the outside world. She hasn't breathed fresh air, hasn't felt cold air on her skin, has never been inside a shopping mall. She's completely trapped, waiting for someone to find her.
Ross is homeless. Living with his brothers, sister and best friend in a tiny shack at the back of the village, he's never experienced anything more than being hungry, saving money and singing to make a little bit of cash. He wants to be free, be a normal teenager with a normal life, not constantly being careful.
So when the two meet in the middle of the night, they instantly connect. Both are searching for freedom and a way of life which isn't scary or crushing. Together they make a great team but reality comes with a cost and the two find that living a normal life isn't as amazing as it seems...
