Phantom

Chapter 12

(Robin's P.O.V)

After finding out that phantom is my little brother I've been looking for my little brother for three years and now I found out the kid we found in the facility, experimented on is my brother. I went back to the mount justice in the zeta tubes and I saw Danny was on the couch he looked like he had something on his mind.

I tapped his shoulder so I can get his attention and I accidentally startled him. he looked up at me and said

"hey, robin what's wrong is something bothering you?"

I looked at him and now that I get a good look at him, he does look like my little brother I didn't understand how I didn't notice before but then again no one at his old town recognized him. I wanted to get to know him I said

"Yeah I'm fine so phantom I want to get to know you better would you be okay with that"

i saw him hesitate a little bit and thinks for a few minutes and he looked up at me and smiles softly and said

"yeah why not but if you get to know me better I get it to ask questions to you too "

I smile at him and nod and I sat down next to him and faced him and I thought for a little bit and I found out what I'm going to do first I'm going to ask the easy question before asking the difficult one lastly.

"Alright, what do you want to be when you grow up "-R

"I want to be an astronaut but now I'm not so sure since have you ever heard a half-ghost astronaut"-P

"no, I haven't but you would be the first-half ghost to be an astronaut and I'm sure you still want to go see all the cool stuff in space, huh"-R

" Yeah you're right I still want to explore space I mean the thought of space is awesome and now that I know that there is life on other planets I can't wait now it's my turn how did you get into the hero stuff?"-P

" I always thought heroes were so cool but when I got into it my family was murdered and I wanted revenge when I found out who killed my parents and I was about to get revenge but batman helped me and I threw him in jail "-R

we continue to get to know each other and he talked fondly about his best friends a goth girl name Sam Manson, tucker foley his adopted big sister jazz Fenton and talked about how she was always studying to get accepted into a good college.

how his parents were ghost hunters and how he got his powers and I wish I was there to protect him so he didn't get hurt and all about his experience fighting ghosts to keep them from hurting people and when he told me I felt so proud of my little brother and I told him stuff like my time-fighting joker, two face, Harley Quinn, poison ivy, etc

after hours of talking, I decided I should tell him the truth about him being my little brother I was worried about how he was going to take it, I really hope he takes it okay and said

"so I have some news turns out I'm not the last of my family"-R

"Really that's great robin I'm so happy for you what do you think they are like now "-P

" he turned a good kid no matter how everyone thinks he is like I know he loves space, he has a computer nerd friend and a goth friend he had a good role model, he has a secret that his friends only know"-R

" really well I hope you get to see him soon"-P

"phantom you're my little brother, I'm sorry I wasn't there for you when you were younger I wish I was with you to protect you from all those ghosts but I'm so proud by what you have accomplished all by yourself"-R

I looked over to Danny and I saw he was in disbelief and in denial and then he accepted but he had tears starting to form and I tried to comfort him but he pushed me away

"get away from me I don't want you to die because of me, please stay away"-D

I couldn't take it anymore and gave him a hug until he finally accepted and cried until he couldn't anymore

"Danny it wasn't your fault the Fenton wanted to protect you and they were willing to die to protect you I know it's hard but I'm here if you need someone to talk to and so is everyone Connor, Megan, Wally, Artemis, Kaldur, and wolf remember that "-R

we turned on a movie and fell asleep on the couch and I felt nice to know my little brother was back with me, and I'll protect him no matter what happened I'm happy and I fell asleep watching The Fox and The Hound
