Chapter 16

(No one's POV)

Danny was sleeping right next to Connor, Connor woke up a while ago with the rest of the team they were spitballing ideas on where they can take Danny and wally turns on the tv and saw a commercial about circus gothica.   

"what if we take Danny to the circus I'm sure he will like it"- KF

that's a great idea wally no one tells Danny"- M'gaan

They decided on it and everyone tried to distract Danny until it was time to head over to the circus. wally put a blindfold on Danny and got in the car and drove off to Circus gothica at the entrance and walked over to the main tent and took off the blindfold 

"Surprise Danny!!"- the team

they looked at Danny and Danny looked panicked and scared

"what's wrong Danny, don't you like the circus"-A

"depends on the ringmaster isn't crook that robs everything by controlling ghosts"- D

"Come on Danny you'll be fine we are here for you"-R

"... okay I trust you"-D

They walked into the main tent and sat on the bleachers and sat down around Danny. Connor was sitting next to Danny and robin and watched the circus and Danny didn't see freak show anywhere so he started relaxed a bit and then saw freak show with his glowing red crystal ball. 

"thank you for coming folks I hope you had a terrible time "-fs

Robin looked over to his brother and saw his eyes turned from icy blue to crimson red.  they walked out of the circus and didn't see Danny and we split up and looked everywhere and they found him behind the main tent.

(CONNOR'S View)

I was worried about Danny as I walked everywhere around the circus area looking and asked people if they have seemed Danny. I continue to look and saw Danny and I sighed in relief and called the others. I was about to go to him but before I did I saw klarion I hide and listen

"Freak show why is this kid here?"-K

"he's a ghost dear klarion"-FS

Danny transformed into his ghost form and he turned around and I saw it his eye's they were crimson red they usually were neon green. Freakshow immediately knew him and smiles his usual smile. I heard footsteps behind me and saw the others and kept listening to the conversation

"well if it isn't my old minion phantom well this is going to be fun, you put me away in jail last time we met but now you don't have your little friends to stop me"-FS

klarion told Danny and the ghosts what he needed them to get for a spell he was making and Danny opened a portal and they disappeared into the portal and it closed after them.

(Danny's view)

the kid named klarion told me and the other ghosts what he needs for a special spell he didn't tell us what it was but he did tell us what the ingredients are and where to get it and I opened a portal. we went inside and flew to the ingredient and while the others got the stuff I went to distract the guards by scaring them and after a few minutes, the young justice team came. 

"hurry up with getting the ingredients "-D 

I saw my brother robin trying not to hurt me and superboy grabbed me from behind and tried to hold me but I slammed my head against him and he let go and I got back up and duplicated myself and distracted them with using my ecto plasma blast. I saw them dodging them so I froze the ground and used my ghost whale they fell to the ground and I smiled a bit and the others found the ingredients and i opened the portal again I looked over to them one more time and saw Connor and robin they were trying to get up and looked at me. my eyes flickered from green to back to red and i went through the portal and closed it after i went in and gave the ingredients to klarion so he could make the spell.

robin and Connor saw Danny's eyes and knew he was still fighting and they went to the cave with the others and they made a plan and restocked their weapons and make a plan and when they all knew their parts and went back to the circus and went sneaking around and they saw Danny with the other ghosts. they went into the main tent and saw klarion finished his spell and it made a yellow- gold crystal. freakshow had the staff in his hands and they were ready to leave happy harbor, the team decided it was time to attack. they jumped out of their hiding place and klarion smirks and laughs 

"ha... you're too late, I got what I came for come on Mr. tinkles see ya later armadillos"-K

klarion got his cat Mr. tinkles and went through his portal as he did freakshow called out for the ghosts and Danny.

"minions attack them "-FS

Danny and the other ghosts started to attack the team and as they did they didn't realize m'gaan disappeared she was over by freakshow and used her powers to levitate the staff to her and freakshow tried to get it back.

"minions get my staff!!"-FS

Danny was fighting robin and Connor as he did one of the ghosts blasted at robin and went for another blast. m'gaan smashed the crystal ball on the ground and shattered it to a thousand tiny pieces and all the ghosts' eyes went back to normal.

(Danny's view)

I was I control of my own body again and felt like I was going to pass out but I saw my brother hurt and another blast went at him and imminently saw my adopted family and something happened and I felt my throat burning like when you scream and I looked over to him and saw he didn't get hit with the blast and I fell over without realizing the last thing I saw was Connor catching me before hitting the ground and everything went black.

(Connor's view)

I saw Danny was falling and I was able to catch him before he hit the ground and the bright white rings appeared again and he was back in his human form. I picked him up bride style and robin came over 

"is he okay Connor?"-R

"yes he just fine just passed out from exhaustion "-C

I saw robin sigh in relief and wally came over and checked on robin and we went back in the bioship wally didn't let go of robin even when robin told him he was alright. I held Danny in my arms not letting go and when the others wanted to take or look at Danny I growled quietly. when we got home I took Danny to the medby and sat down next to the bed and I felt relieved knowing Danny was back to normal.

" Danny I promise I won't let anything happen to you again"-C

I fell asleep chair resting my head on the bed
