Part Five: An Unlikely Team

In the heart of the town things have started to quiet down, everyone goes about their business like they normally would in an attempt to get Hull house out of their minds. Sitting in a diner all alone is Rodger, he waits for Sister Gloria to arrive. She was supposed to be in town hours ago, but due to the bus she was riding overheated leaving her and many other passengers stranded in the middle of nowhwere. She had already been in a cab and a bus today and all she wanted was to get to Rodger.

Its 6:49 in the evening and Rodger looks up to see Sister Gloria standing in front of him. Rodger jumps up and gives her a hug. "Its so great to see you sister!" He says while sitting back down in the booth. "I just wish it was under better circumstances!" Sister Gloria says while looking at Rodger with fear in her eyes. A waitress comes over and asks what can she get them. "Black coffee" they say in unison, "Oh and a slice of apple pie." Sister gloria says. "I am really worried Rodger, I am afraid that the construction has awoken Angela again!" She reaches up and gently grabs her cross necklace. :"I'm almost certain it already has, Sister someone has already died, and earlier today Terri jumped off the roof of the mental hospital!" Sister Gloria gasps and covers her mouth with her hands, she is in shock, a single tear streams down her face. "That poor child, every moment of her life was tragedy after tragedy. I wish I could've helped her more." Rodger takes a sip of the coffee the waitress just sat down on the table. His face shrivels up in disgust, he looks down in his cup and its blood. Him and Sister Gloria gasps and immediately start praying. They open their eyes and look down and its plain black coffee again. "That's a bad omen, we need to get to Hull House immediately!" Gloria says while grabbing her bag. As they get up from the table something outside catches their eye. It's a truck, and Shirley is in the driver's seat stopped at a red light. "Oh no!" Sister Gloria says. "Sister didnt she die at the massacre?" Rodger says looking puzzled. "Yes, but her body was never found, someone has taken something from Hull house, just like BiBi took the lipstick, that's the only way she could be wandering around." They run outside but the light has turned green and Shirley has taken off. They run to the parking lot and get in Rodgers car. They know where they are headed... Hull House.
