Night Of The Demons 2.5

Part 7: Return to Hull House

As Suzanne and Les make their way out of the room, they are blinded by a light shining through the window. Les walks up to the window, gently pushes the curtains back far enough for him to see what is causing the light. "Expecting company?" Les asks the group. "No, but the more the merrier right." Shirley jokes. "Is it some more cute boys?" Suzanne says while re applying her lipstick in a broken piece of mirror. "Well who is it?" Angela asks while tapping her long black nails on the stairs railing. "Its a nun and a priest. Gale laughs and says "oh I'm so scared." She looks at Shirley and they both start giggling then Shirley's eyes get huge, you can see her mind working overtime, "Uh-oh sister Gloria has found us!" She laughs maniacally. Angela walks over to where Les is standing, and peeps through the curtains. "Aww Suzanne it's one of our party guests!" Suzanne runs over and pulls the curtain half way open. "Its Rodge, I wonder if he's still a chicken shit?" Suzanne says while looking over her shoulder at Angela. "I guess we will find out in a minute." Angela says while walking back over towards the staircase. They can hear footsteps approaching the front door. The door knob jiggles but it won't open. Angela and the others look so confused. They walk over and try to open the door themselves, they knob won't budge, but Angela can feel a small electric current through her hands.  "The house isn't ready for anymore visitors tonight! We are not strong enough yet" Angela tells the others. On the other side of the door Rodger and Sister Gloria are just as confused as the demons inside. Rodger tries to open the door but nothing is happening. Sister Gloria walked up and twisted the knob and the door opened about an inch and slammed itself back shut. "We're not welcome here tonight!" Sister Gloria tells Rodger, "Well what do we do Sister?" Rodger looks concerned. "We come back on Halloween, we know the house will be ready then!" The demons inside can hear them talking outside the door, "Halloween, Huh?" Les says. "My favorite day of the year, and the day we are at our strongest. " Angela starts smiling and as soon as the smile goes across her face lightning strikes across the sky. "An Omen!" Rodger says, him and sister Gloria run off the porch and back to his car. They back out of the driveway as quick as they can. The demons inside see the car leaving. "Well guys we will have our fun in a couple of days!" Angela says while looking at the others. "Until then LET'S Party!" Suzanne says as she runs over and turns on the radio that Stooge had left at Hull house back in 1988.  Music blasts through the empty halls of Hull house and the demons dance the night away.

Fast forward and it is Halloween. On all Hallows eve the veil between the spirit world and the human world is at its thinnest, that's why tonight Angela and the other demons will be at their strongest.

It was two years ago when Angela returned and took all those catholic school kids sould with her when she returned to hell, and the few survivors of that fateful night couldn't live anymore different lives. Terri was in a mental hospital, Bibi and Johnny got married and lead pretty normal lives, and the last survivor Melissa is a shut in. This morning Mouse had one of her dreams again. In her dream she was running to Hull house. She opens the door runs in and runs into the arms of her sister Angela. In her dream she can feel others around her. She looks up and sees all of the Hull house demons hugging her,  but their face is distorted and bloody. She wakes up screaming covered in sweat. This happens almost every night, Melissa doesn't know the last time she had a full night's sleep, everytime she closes her eyes she sees blood, demons, and the faces of the deceased teens who tricked her into doing to Hull house 2 years before. This morning when she woke up screaming something was different to her, she could feel it in the air, she walks to her front door unlocks every lock opens the door and steps outside onto her front porch. The sun is so bright her eyes start to hurt but she doesn't care, the fresh air feels so good on her skin, she smells fall in the air, the leaves from fallen trees are dancing in the wind. She looks over and sees BiBi and Johnny. Johnny has just gotten home from his janitorial nightshift job at the local hospital. Mouse walks right over to their car. "How are you guys today?" She says holding her hands up over her eyes to shield the sun. "We're good." Said BiBi reaching out to give her a hug. "You're awful cheerful this morning." Johnny said in a shocked voice. "Oh and you cut your hair. It looks great Melissa." Said BiBi. Melissa hugged Johnny and then stepped backwards. She looks all over the place, like shes taking it all in for the first time. Melissa takes a deep breath and let's it out, "Today feels different, I feel alive, I feel great!" She says smiling from ear to ear. "Come over and have breakfast with us!" Johnny says motioning for Melissa to go in front of him. They all three go into BiBi and Johnny's house.

Bibi is used to making big meals. Every morning she always makes enough food for any extra guests that might come over, but in her mind she only ever wanted one guest and that was Melissa. Bibi was the only nice person to mouse back at ST Rita's, and after their horrible Halloween adventure, Bibi always worried about Melissa, if she was eating, was she okay mentally. So when she heard Melissa was moving across town, BiBi and Johnny immediately bought the house next door. They had gotten money from their parents as well as money for emotional distress from ST Rita's academy they hadn't used the academy or anything, but it was pretty much hush moneyso they wouldn't speak about their time there to the press. The academy shut its doors not long after Halloween, not because of funding issues, but because it now had a horrible reputation, and a place known for demons. After the academy shut down, Bibi had just turned 18 and got tired of staying inside all the time, so she took the first job she came across, A cook/waitress at the local diner. During her time here she picked up a love for cooking and she became great at it. This morning is no different, she whips up some homemade biscuits, bacon, eggs, sausage, and country style gravy. Melissa starts eating as soon as the food hits the plate, she is eating like she hasn't eaten in years. "This is so good!" She says while putting another piece of bacon in her mouth. Bibi and Johnny look at each other and smile, they are so happy to see Melissa out of her house and socializing with them. "I'm gonna need as much strength as I can get!" Melissa says while dipping her biscuits in the gravy. "Strength for what?" Bibi says looking at Johnny worried. "I just need strength, staying inside made me weak." She was lying to them, and they could tell she was but they didnt say anything. Melissa finished off the food on her plate, and sat it in the sink. "Thank you guys for breakfast, I hate to eat and run but i'll see you in a little bit." After BiBi and Johnny said their goodbye to her she heads back to her house. She walks inside, goes to her room and grabs the clown costume she wore that night, she takes off her nightgown and steps into the clown suit. "Okay Angela, I'm coming for you." She goes to the door peaks out and makes sure Bibi and Johnny doesn't see her. She steps outside and starts walking down the road.

After walking for around 30 minutes Melissa is already tired, shes not used to being out like this anymore and she has became weak. A car pulls up beside, and to her luck it's a taxi. The driver is an older friendly guy. She tells him where she wants to go. She told him to drop her off about a mile from Hull house. After she got out the car there and the driver took off, she started walking towards Hull house. After an hour of her walking and having to rest she makes it to the wall that separates Hull house from the rest of the town. She gets down and puts her ear to the ground, the river that keeps the demons on the property is still running. Melissa steps up wipes herself off, walks straight to the door and then it flew open. Melissa steps inside and shouts to the top of her Lungs, "Angela, Your Party Guest has Arrived!". The door flew shut behind her and she didnt flinch. The pipes started making noises, the floor starts creaking. She looks up and at the top of the stairs is Angela dressed in her black wedding dress.
