hidden feelings

"Filthy mudblood!" Draco rolled his eyes as he was once again arguing with the brightest witch of their age "Stupid ferret!" Hermione hissed as she glared at the blonde boy in front of her. "Ugh can you guys stop?" Pansy said getting tired of hearing them argue every single day "Nope." The slytherin prince and the gryffindor princess said at the same time.

Pansy just gave up and Blaise smirked at the two "When the bloody hell are they gonna realise that they like each other?" Blaise whispered to Pansy "I have absolutely no idea but the fact that they're hiding it is killing me ugh". Everyone in hogwarts knows that Hermione and Draco are obviously in love with each other. People have even been betting on them.

"Hey guy- oh for merlins sake please don't tell me they're fighting again" Ron said as Him, Harry and Ginny entered Draco's room.

After the war everything has changed. Dumbledore gave Harry, Ron, Ginny, Hermione, Pansy, Blaise and Draco a task. The task was to build a bond, for Dumbledore knew that if they built a friendship it would be a strong one. Dumbledore had a feeling that the friendships would do great in the future. Since the war ended the 7 people who was given the task was sent to the malfoy manner. Lucius has changed and so has Narcissa. They both welcomed the 7 teenagers inside their manner. Everyone had been getting along and have became friends so far...well, maybe not everyone. Draco and Hermione still seem to be 'enemies'.

"Shut up Weasley. I'm trying to tell Granger here that books are stupid and boring" Draco said and Hermione's jaw dropped "Uhm if there was anything stupid and boring in this room it would be you." Hermione said which caused her to smirk. Harry and Ron tried to keep their laughter in but failed to. Blaise was looking at Draco and studied his face, he could tell that Draco got a little hurt. Pansy looked at Hermione with a look saying 'Damn how are you not a slytherin'. While Ginny just smiled at her best friend who roasted the crap out of the blonde boy.

"Oh." Was the only thing that would come out of Draco's mouth "Well, i best be heading off. I need some fresh air, i don't wanna argue with this bookworm anymore. Her clap backs are getting boring" He said leaving, without making eye contact with anyone. "Hey Draco wait up!" Blaise said as he was trying to catch up with his best friend that was walking quite fast, considering the fact that he's trying to leave as soon as possible.

"I'm sorry what was that?" Hermione said looking at Draco slightly confused. Draco would normally rage and get mad but this time all Hermione could see is a slighty hurt looking Draco. "Whoa" Pansy said with her eyes wide open "What?" Hermione asked still confused "That looked like it hurt him" Ginny said with a look of confusion and excitement at the same time "Mione! That was bloody brilliant!" Ron said as Harry started clapping "That look like it really hit him hard" Harry said and started laughing. Hermione immediately felt bad but pushed that feeling away and just laughed. "You alright there Mione?" Harry asked concerned with look of sadness on Hermione's face "Yeah... of course i am, why wouldn't i be?" Hermione tried to lie, but Pansy and Ginny could see right through her "Uh Hermione would you come with me and Ginny? Were going to bed now" Pansy asked and Hermione nodded as she followed the two girls in the bedroom and locked the door.

Meanwhile with the boys....

"You ok there mate?" Blaise asked concerned "Yeah" Draco said and sighed "Don't lie to me, Draco" Blaise said as he looked at his bestfriend "I said, I'm fine." Draco said and looked at the ground as they reached the front door "I can tell you're not" Blaise said as Draco just sighed "Ok fine, I'll admit. I'm not ok. I don't know what's gotten into me. I just felt hurt for some reason. Don't even bother asking why, cause i don't know why either-" Draco was cut of by Blaise "I don't have to ask that Draco, I already know the answer" Blaise said which made Draco raise an eye brow "Mind telling me the answer?" Draco said as Blaise gave him a look of disappointment "Are you bloody kidding?! For merlins sake Draco, you like her." Blaise said which surprised Draco
