It's not okay.

I learned everyone is equal in the country I was born...
But , soon enough all of my fallacy was torn!!
I thought world was a better place to live in, but my life had a different storyline prepared for me...
Everything didn't came to me at once, all the pieces were jumbled up and gradually will bounce!!
I started learning , the equality is not served, the path is lil wrecked...
You have to fight for it and fetch the respect !!
The objectification I faced, the patriarchy I snubbed...
The misogyny I overlooked, Oh! But the fake feminism needed to be crushed!!
I witnessed India adapting rape culture,and men becoming vultures!!
I learned women are numbered as per their body..
you are 36-24-36 ?? Oh perfect!! Look at you, you hotie!!
ENOUGH!!!!!!!.

When your body defines your true potential,
When fairness cream becomes true indicator of who you are.
When your clothes put you in shame in public.
When smiling turn out to be a consent for your interest.
When your thoughts are suppressed and your identity is submerged down below your looks .
Then Look !! look carefully around you beneath you, and inside of you.
Don't be quite, teach them..
Teach them that you are more to just your body .
Teach them you can outshine them in every field and still be humble.
Teach them it's not okay to create a laugh out of our struggle..
Teach them there is more colours in your thoughts than the short clothes they are staring at,.only if they are ready to use their ear instead.
