Finishing their time within the diner, Maky and Quinn walk out to the establishment's anterior as the young man gazes at the former amidst being poised towards her left, suspicion demonstrated. "Are you sure you don't wanna' let the pizzas settle a bit? You just got done."

Quinn randomly does a 360 degree spin as she mildly have her arms stretched at opposing sides of her person with her eyes shut prior to halting so she can view Maky, turning her head accordingly. "Does that answer your question?"

Maky shakes his head while bluntly stating, "Not in the slightest."

Quinn folds her arms together and grins. "Well, at least that confirms your denseness. Anyone could tell you that moving the way I did right now would be hard. Especially after munching down on as much food." She raises her nose, pride emitted. "Of course, it doesn't matter considering I'm a vampire!"

Maky leisurely glances westward upon hearing a bit of snickering generate from that direction as he finds several teens dressed in casual attire located near a white Sports Utility Vehicle. He immediately registers the small group is laughing at Quinn's declaration, leading to the chubby lad to revert his concentration towards his date. "You really pay no mind to yelling out what you are, huh?"

Quinn shrugs, having straightened her head's angling. "Strangers think what they want, correct? Those were practically your words. They have the right to judge whoever. So long as they don't try to start crap."

A male voice soon chimes from the collection of teenagers, mockingly uttering, "Hey, check it out! I'm Dracula! Wanna' be my queen, baby!" The source and his friends resume their laughter, but louder this time.

Maky retains his sight on Quinn while curiously inquiring, "Like that?"

Quinn temporarily sighs before exhibiting a cheerful attitude and mounts her left hand atop Maky's right shoulder, rubbing it a little. "Forget 'em. He's simply envious. He knows he'd never have the chance to get in bed with me." The beauty giggles.

Maky glimpses at Quinn's hand as his eyes widen until rapidly depicting the dame again. "Wait. That sounds as if you're suggesting I'm gonna'-"

The same individual who remarked earlier interrupts Maky's speech via blurting out in a patronizing method, combing back his straight, black hair with his left hand during that, "Wow! Look at the power of friendship! How's the zone, man?!"

Maky pauses while shifting his focus towards the sidewalk he and Quinn are standing on.

Quinn glares at the nuisance and is about to issue a retort, although notices Maky suddenly reach into his right pocket with the corresponding appendage to that sector.

The lone, petite, blonde girl in the group of teens witnesses that action as she urgently nudges the arrogant fellow via her left hand tapping his arm. "Yo, the dude is pulling something out!"

Another boy responds from partially behind the fretting chick, portraying a relaxed conduct. "Eh, the wimp's only fronting! No way he's packing heat!"

Maky ultimately brings out his cell phone, commencing to access its contents, while plainly saying with his attention glued to the object, "I can't argue with that. Knives make me nervous enough. Imagine guns." The hazel-eyed gentleman shivers as he releases a brief, disgusted groan.

Quinn smirks, relieved since she isn't aware if Maky can be easily provoke in these kinds of situations and was anticipating the worst.
