(Y/n) smiled at the happy memories that suddenly came to her mind as she's walking towards Oyakata-sama's estate. She missed him. It's been years since they last see each other. She wonder how his life is right now, while she's doing her job as a demon slayer. Little did she know, Oyakata-sama has planned a certain special mission for those two childhood friend to finally meet again.

(Y/n)'s now a demon slayer, well it's been four years actually, yes it took that long for her to develop and improve her breath. After the third festival that she spent with Rengoku, as usual, they'd visit the shrine to do prayings. But when they came back... The festival was a mess. Blood splattered everywhere, the once neatly decorated booths are now just a buch of blood stained debris. The decorations falling out of place and is painted in blood red, food is scattered everywhere. The fresh scent of blood can be smelled from meters away... Both of them couldn't help but to notice...

As soon as she saw those lifeless bodies, the young girl sprinted towards her father's booth leaving the other boy, trying to locate it since now all the booths looks like a pile of broken wooden planks splattered with blood. She then smelled a faint familiar sweet scent of Rengoku's favourite food. Sweet potatoes.

When she arrived there, there was a figure, bending down in the middle of the road, she took silent steps hoping that the figure didn't hear her. But oh boy, the figure whips their head towards her as soon as she took a step. Her eyes went wide as she stared at the figure, who apparently was eating a dead body until she arrives. It was a demon. And it's not just any demon. It was her father. The demon then lunged towards her. (Y/n) stood there, her legs refusing to move even though her brain told her to run away. Then in a split second, she felt a gust of wind running through her face. She opened her eyes only to see a tall figure along with a familiar hair. It was Kyojuro's father. She then heard a voice calling from behind.

"Father!"

'Rengoku'. When she was about to turn her head to see the boy, she felt something covering her eyes. Not letting her see the decapitated body of her own father. "Father! What are you-". You heard Rengoku said, before he got cutted of by his father. "It's okay, (Y/n) i'm sorry, let's get you home..." he said, turning her body so that she won't see the body, he let his hand off her eyes started guiding her to walk, putting a hand behind her so she wont try to look back.

"You know the way home, right?" Kyojuro's father asked. (Y/n), who's still in shock could only nod her head in respond as she shows them the way towards her home, where her mother awaits.

It has been years after the incident. (Y/n) eventually ran away from home and stumbled across a former pillar. She's been training ever since, and became a demon slayer at the age of 15. She even defeloped her own breath. And now she's making her way towards Oyakata-sama's estate. For her debut as the Sky pillar. Although she already had her position as a pillar from when she's 16 but decided to make her debut now after she polished the heck out of her own breath to the absolute fullest.

This is not her first time in the estate, she had been called here several times, to help her improve her breath. But she rarely saw the pillars during her times to visit, since most of them were busy with missions. The ones that she's close to are Shinobu and Giyuu. You're also aware about Shinjuro-san's absence a couple of years ago. Other than them she rarely saw the other pillars.

Walking through the path, you look up towards the the sky, replaying certain memories on how you became close with those certain pillars.

Shinobu is already like a sister to you. Since you practically live in the Butterfly estate before you got your own place. She's the one who invites you to live in her estate. Getting close to her, Shinobu told you to stay away from the water pillar, Giyuu. You didn't know if she said it as a joke or not but you felt sorry for the guy. One day Oyakata-sama paired you to train with Giyuu, you both were hungry after training, on your way back, both of you suddenly blurted out "Simmered salmon" at the same time and boom you two became best friends. (That's weird but ok)

Back to the present time.

Walking through the gate, (Y/n) is greeted by the insect pillar, Shinobu. Who's apparently watering the plants around the garden. "Hello, (Y/n)-chan. I'm guessing you're ready for your debut as a pillar?" She asked, a soft smile adoring her face as she put the hose down and start walking with her. "Y-yeah, you could say so. A bit nervous but i'll be fine!" The girl beamed, pumping her fist towards the sky. Walking through the huge garden, they finally saw Oyakata-sama sitting on the porch, accompanied by his daughters.
