It started out as any other trial would, the entity's dark tendrils grasping at the survivors whisking them away from whatever they were doing, sending the unsuspecting victims to one of their personal play grounds.
Jake was one of the original survivors, and he had adapted a certain love for being alone, enjoying the peace before the entity's foul presence had taken him. He hated doing the trials, but at the same time, it filled him with adrenaline. They had met a new survivor, by the name of Laurie, a kind woman, young as well. She spoke of who she had come with, the killer, with such high regard.. and disgust.. that he couldn't imagine what this, Michael character, had truly done to her. He opened his eyes, and looked around, inspecting the dark road he was landed in. This must've been Lampkin Lane, as Laurie described, being her home, as well as the killers. He wasn't sure that he'd run into the killer, as it could've been Hag or Clown, any other of the monstrous beasts lurking in the Entity's playgrounds. Laurie quickly would start asking me questions, wanting to get out of here as fast as she possibly could. "So Jake, these are the, generators, you were talking about, correct?" Laurie started, as she was very quick to pick up on things. "Yes Laurie, we have to get 5 of this suckers done to power up these doors," he said, silently motioning to the large structure looming over them, "We also have to escape the killer.. and not get hooked." He ended quite blatantly, motioning to the rusty looking sharp object, with dried blood staining it. He ignored further questions, and got her to work on the generator, as he began to sabble the hook, working with quick hands. He heard it drop, and quickly moved his attention towards Laurie and the generator, who had surprisingly good haste, not blowing up the cursed metallic box. They were making small talk, which Jake honestly couldn't get enough of, as she was, quite.. interesting to say the least. But, midway through a soft laugh, after recalling her time at the house before it all went to hell, she stopped, staring up behind Jakes head, before letting go of the generator, causing it to malfunction, and blow, burning Jakes hands. "What the fuck Laur-" she instantly silenced him, grabbing his hands and forcing him to run, her frantic movements soon turned into a full on sprint. She knew this playground like the back of her hand. She quickly led him up the stairs of a particularly friendly looking house, a pumpkin resting on the outside of it, and let go of him, not sure if they had lost whatever spooked her. "Laurie.. did you see who it is?? What'd they look like??" She stared at Jakes face for a moment, motionless.. "It's him Jake.." she spoke, her face draining of all color. "It's the boogeyman.."
