Jake awoke, the entity's web like tendrils let go of him, and he was rushed by Claudette, Dwight, and lastly, Laurie. Dwight spoke quickly, looking panicked and overjoyed as well "W..W..Where were you??? We were waiting for you after the trial.. W.. Well Laurie thought you didn't find hatch and died... but here you are, unscathed!! What—" Laurie was looking very unamused, and was obviously about to speak, but Claudette cut off Dwight, "Guys, lay off. Just be happy he got out of there unscathed, right buddy?" She nudged Jake, clearly covering for her friend. Which, he was grateful for. "Yeah.. I really need to rest. I was outrunning him the entire time, the idiot didn't even close the hatch!! Hell, I bet he didn't know what he was doing." He lied, which seemed to convince Claudette and Dwight, but Laurie seemed unconvinced, she knew something was up with how quickly he blew it off. Claudette ushered him off to his sleeping area, where a neat tent was set up in the woods, he said he "preferred it there" and that "it's quiet here", so everyone just kind of left him. Claudette wished him a well rest, as she hadn't escaped, so her and Dwight had to go again, until they escaped...

*Far later in the night*
Jake was still up, staring at the ceiling of his makeshift tent, listening to the wind blowing and the sounds of leaves hitting each other. That's when he heard the slight crunching of leaves beneath something, or someone. He hadn't known any animals to be in the entities world, so this was.. this had to be someone. He sat up, panic overwhelming him. He grabbed his screwdriver, as that was the only thing to protect himself with. Something rapidly opened the tent, and Jake reacted by shoving the screwdriver at whatever, or whoever it was. The figure quickly shot back and grabbed the screwdriver. "Jesus Jake you about took out my fucking eye!" A familiar British voice echoed, distaste in the sound. "Oh Jesus, David I'm so sorry, I thought.. it doesn't matter what I thought.. just.. are you alright?" Jake freaked out, pulling David into the rather large tent. David, now resting the screwdriver on the floor, nodded, "Yeh, though you should watch where you point that damn thing." He stated bitterly, a slight hint of humor and sarcasm underlining the words. After a few moments of Jake being confused, he giggled. David let out a roaring laugh, and then they got on with it, and spoke of their games, and shared stories and deep words. They were truly the best of friends, as David's boyfriend was Dwight, and Dwight was practically his right hand man, they got along very well. It sometimes made his poor boyfriend a bit jealous of their amazing friendship, causing him to question his worth at times. David, being the amazing boyfriend he was, never let him doubt for too long, always taking them on their so called "Walks.", everyone knows what that truly means. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
As it reached the end of their late night talk, David suggested something to Jake, the reason he truly came to Jake in the first place, "Everyone is having a celebration at the camp fire, for apparently it's Ace's birthday. Wanted something grand apparently.." David scoffed, which caused Jake to laugh a bit more. "Alright, I'll come, but only because you guys are going to be there."

They finally arrived at the campfire, and David wasn't kidding about grand. There was a huge escape cake, most likely a gift from the Entity, who still cherished her puppets, more than others would think. They were also gifted booze, which they couldn't ask more from their god like being. The party really began when Jake walked in, when they all screamed "Happy birthday Jake!" Jake deadpanned.. it was his birthday.. he just had totally forgotten. He just turned 26.... but it's like Jake was still 21, so he didn't really remember. Everyone cooed when the silent saboteur teared up, sniffling. They all ran to his side and hugged him, little did they know though, a certain killer was lurking, watching this go down.
