Laying in his bed with closed eyes, the morning illuminated onto the world and the sun's light was beginning to crackle through the clouds, dissipating them in the morning dew. In response, to the light, bathing all forms of life, graced with its radiating brilliance, the creatures of the world slowly creaked to signs of consciousness while the birds sang a hymn in unison as they travelled, searching for companionship in this large world.
Despite the light having seeped through the window, enveloping the dim room in the light of life, the male, completely clothed in his blanket that was woven over his head, remained inanimate and still remained asleep. It was only when the door to the male's room was met with a loud knock, that it had successfully woken him up quickly, and following the large knock, it was followed by a female's voice:
"Morning! Wake up, Tenya! It's Saturday or you'll be late for school!"
Once the male heard those he shot up all while remaining situated on the bed, staring at the wall for several seconds until he finally moved, grabbing his glasses that were on his desk.
I've got to hurry and get ready or I'll screw up my perfect attendance! That absolutely must not happen or it'll be a black spot in my arduous career of becoming a hero! I have to quickly get ready, but first I need to have breakfast!
"Morning! I'm coming, mother!" called out Tenya, pacing hurriedly to the door as soon as he put on his glasses, entering into the main hallway, to the living room, in order to have breakfast.
Once he entered the living room, he saw both his mother and father adorned in their hero costumes, without their helmets, standing at the door in order to leave. This caught Iida by surprise, so he felt compelled to ask.
"Are you both heading out to duty early? What about breakfast?" asked Tenya, curiosity tinged in his voice as he looked to both of his parents, unaware of the footsteps behind him.
"We'll grab something to eat along the way. In the meantime, you'll have to make breakfast for both you and your brother and quickly go to school. Don't take too long," replied his mother, reminding him, until she opened the door and left, "have a good day! Take care!"
Iida, to her request, was shaken to the core and his eyes widened, solely because he never made breakfast, much less for his brother, considering it was always his mother who had prepared it for them. This was the first time that Iida was facing an insurmountable wall, that he had no idea to climb over.
I-Impossible!
It had left such an impact, that he had not noticed the footsteps from behind earlier until a calm, nonchalant voice spoke up behind him.
"Morning, bro!" called out Tensei, his older brother, flashing a smile at him, "looks like it's just us, huh? Would you mind if you make breakfast for me? Once we're done, I'll also follow after mom and dad."
Once he asked Tenya the question, he clasped his hands together playfully and then situated at the living room table, picking up the newspaper left there by his father, to look at the sport's section.
"Oh, morning, big brother," replied Tenya, who fell silent at Tensei's requests as his jaw tightened, turning his back to his brother as he looked down whilst facing the fridge.
