So I remember reading a book like this 5 or 4 years ago. It was a Justin Bieber Fan fiction called Alien, so this book is inspired by that.

Adley POV

It was the year of 2043.

So many things has happened this past decade, luckily, nothing deadly.

They've been signs up in the sky for the past year. Some people assumed it was just the season changing but their were theorists that thought it might be a sign of the aliens coming.

Then it was confirmed. 2043, the year of the alien invasion. Most of us weren't aware about what was going to happen. No one could predict anything. But I can tell you that we weren't ready.

Once, when a loud thud hit in the city causing the whole world to tremble, that's when everyone started to freak out.

News Reporter: "...FBI was called once, what seems to be a UFO, lands in a neighbourhood. Residents were concerned once the tremble occurred but they were too scared to inspect anything. When the FBI arrived, over a thousand unknown beings evacuated from the UFO. Most of them were killed. As the scientists opened up the extraterrestrial beings, a glowing green light shines inside of them. No blood, no organs, just green goo. An FBI agent said that two survived. One of them were taken to the lab but the other escaped. We have no clue what these species came to do or where they came from but this might be our final warning..."

"Holy fuck..." I mumbled in shock as I watched the footage of the FBI killing the aliens.

This so crazy.

I never believed in aliens, I always thought that it was something fictional like unicorns or talking animals.

The people that work in NASA never confirmed that there was extraterrestrial life living in space.

But yet again, our government hides literally everything from us, so they're probably keeping a secret.

Our world is full of unsolved theories and mysteries but nobody really cares about them.

"We advise citizens to stay inside their homes. We don't know what this specie is capable of, so please be safe. We are working extremely hard to find this the creator. If you see anything abnormal in your area, please contact us immediately." The FBI agent announced.

I let out a loud sigh as I pull on my fingers nervously.

I've seen movies where aliens devour humans or ones that just eat babies like The Spawning. They're ugly creatures, like, really ugly and horrifying.

I can't imagine what I'd do if I was around one.

But I can't be too worried. I mean, these movies are fictional or I thought it was, but nobody has ever seen or been with an alien to know their personality.

I startled as I heard my phone ring. I answered it and put it in my ear.

"Hello?"

"Dude, have you watched the news?" My best friend, Nailea, said through the phone. I could tell by the tone of her voice that she was panicking over this.

"Yeah, I'm watching it right now. You okay?" I asked her.

I've been living alone since I was 17, I'm now 21. The reason why I've been living alone is cause my parents died in a car crash when I was 13. I had to stay with my grandparents for a while.
