We finished what we bought and, despite still feeling awful physically, I felt less emotionally drained. Me and Katsuki decided to leave the arcade since there were too many loud noises and my head was ringing. We simply decided to take a walk down the road.
"You didn't see my messages?" Katsuki asked, kicking a pebble. I looked at him. "I think I caught a glimpse of them, but I was too disoriented to care." To my response, he snorted. "You're stupid." "I know what you are but what am I?" "That's the most idiotic comeback to exist." "I know." I watch as cars drive by. It wasn't very busy, but it wasn't scarce, either. "What I don't know is why you're hanging out with me? It's only been a few days since I came to this school and when we first met - let's just say we didn't have the most eloquent of introductions." "Because you were a prick who referred to yourself as everyone's 'Master'. That's something a villain would do." Katsuki shot me a glare. I shrugged. "I made a mark, and it's not like that behaviour has come to bite me in the ass yet, so I feel fine with it." "Well I didn't and don't! I thought that was fucking moronic of you to say, everyone probably thought you were stuck up! You're lucky shitty hair decided to take you up on a friendship. If not, everyone would think you were gonna go rogue." "Well luckily, instead, I'm a rogue." Katsuki looked at me with a cocked eyebrow "Hah?". "A rogue, someone who has disapproved behaviour but is still likeable and attractive." I say. Katsuki doesn't look impressed. "Like you." I said. He looked away with a grunt.
I stopped him in front of a small ice cream parlour. Katsuki looks into it and rolls his eyes. "You're childish." He says, shoving his hands in his pocket. "Its not fucking childish, it's a treat. You're fucking sad." I say and take out my wallet. I enter and Katsuki begrudgingly follows. I head to the counter, looking at the listed flavors. I order a (Y/fl) cone and pay for it with my card. Katsuki tries not to look at me, for some reason. While I'm waiting, I take a few steps back. "Are you sure you don't want anything? I can get you something." I say, leaning down a bit. Katsuki scoffs. "I'm sure. I don't want anything." He says, looking to the opposite of me. "Alrriighht..." I lean back and stared at the ground. After a couple moments, I'm called to the counter and I take my cone. Me and Katsuki head out of the building and I consume my ice cream as we continue down the road. "This is refreshing. I still feel really hot, but it's nice to cool down." I say, continuing to enjoy my cone. Katsuki narrows his eyebrows. "Where do you want to go now?" I ask as me and Katsuki pass a bus stop. "I don't know." Katsuki replies.
I think for a couple seconds, gnawing on my lower lip. "Ah! How about your place?" I ask. He tenses, his brows furrowing as he looks at me. "Eh? Why?" He asks, looking at me with his narrow eyes. "I've only seen the outside of it. It's only fair, I let you in my house." "Your mom let me in your house." "I let you stay." I retort and he grunts. We stay silent as we walk. A hot minute passes, but Katsuki finally speaks up. "Sure, fine, whatever." He groans and I smirk. "Ahh, great. Let's go then."
The two of us head down the road. I've seen his house before, the time I zoned out when walking with him. I was curious to how his interior looked. I bite off a chunk of my cone after finishing the top layer of my ice cream. We reach the place where we typically would split up, and we head down the street Katsuki would always go down.
"Who do you live with?" I ask, digging out the rest of my ice cream with my tongue. "Parents, duh." Katsuki glances at me. I eat my now empty cone. "Cool. You've met my mom, I only live with her." Katsuki grunts in response. "Did... She say anything weird? Did she make you uncomfortable?" I ask. "Hah? No? All she talked about was how you weren't all bad, which I don't believe." "You believe it enough to be here." I shrug. "Why'd you think she made me uncomfortable?" Katsuki asked. I looked at him, sucking in my cheeks. "Oh hey, your house." I speak up, gesturing to his house as we approached. "Wh- yeah? So?" "Is the door unlocked?" Katsuki and I hurry up to the front door. The house was big, beautiful. As Katsuki opened the door, I looked back down the pathway.
He slips into the house and I quickly follow him. "Katsuki??" I heard yelled from a different part of the house. Katsuki slams the door shut, and I assumed that was his response. Katsuki slipped off his shoes and after a moment, a woman walked into my view. "Oh! (Y/n)?" She asks. My eyes widen a bit. "Uhh. Yes." How did she know my name? "I thought so, you're hair is what tipped me off. Katsuki, you said you weren't going to bring him over?" She turns to Katsuki. This is definitely his mom, her hair gives it away, like mine did to her, apparently. Katsuki merely grunts, not looking at her. "Well, (Y/n), I'm happy to have you here!" She smiles warmly. "Thank you Ms. Bakugou." I return the smile.
Katsuki grabs my wrist and pulls me away. "Have a fun visit!" Ms. Bakugou calls and I give her a thumbs up. Katsuki pulls me up to what I'm guessing is his bedroom. "God damn old hag..." Katsuki mumbles as let's me go. "She knows who I am?" I ask, closing the door behind me. "She saw you out the window when you followed me home." "And you told her my name?" I look around the interior of his bedroom. "Not instantly. She mentioned what happened from your fucking quirk." He says behind grit teeth. I chuckle nervously and sit on his bed. "You can take off your shoes in my room." Katsuki says as he sits down as well. I nod and take off my shoes, setting them down and laying back.
"I like your place." I say, looking at him. He hums with a nod and looks around his room himself. "Your mom is also nice." I sit up again. "To you, maybe." He grumbles. I sigh. He pulls out his phone and I stand, snooping around his room. He doesn't tell me off so I continue. I hear Katsuki take a sharp inhale and I look over. He's staring at me with furrowed eyebrows before he looks back to his phone. I go back to looking around.
Bakugou's POV
I fucking forgot his contact name was this. I'm changing it, fuck that.
After changing it, I look up and watch (Y/n) look through some sheets of paper. They didn't have anything important on them so I let him. "Your room is very tidy." He says as he picks up the small stack of papers and straightens them out before lightly setting them down again. "I know." I say, watching him look up and down the walls, before at me again.
He sniffles and looks around the room. "Do you have some tissues?" (Y/n) asked. "Clean ones." He winks at me before he scans the room again. I roll my eyes and stand, gesturing for (Y/n) to follow as I take him out the room and to the living room. I take the box and hand it to him. He pulls some tissues out the box and blew his nose.
(Y/n)'s POV
We were about to leave when Ms. Bakugou came into the room. "Come here." She says to Katsuki and smiles at me. She takes us into the kitchen. "(Y/n), you're our guest so you don't need to help, but Katsuki, you need to help me make dinner today." She looks to Katsuki. Katsuki groans. "Seriously? Why?" Katsuki asks. She turns and begins to take out some things to make the dinner. "Don't be a brat." Ms. Bakugou says as she turns to Katsuki, who was approaching. "Fuckin... whatever, old hag." He says before he was whacked across the head. "Language, Katsuki!" Ms. Bakugou shouted before looking at me apologetically.
