°°°4 Days Later°°°

I was rudely awoken during the night and I suddenly found myself in the metal muzzle once again.
I was a bit drowsy and on top of that I was moody.

Waking me up when I'm having a good sleep is never a good idea.

At the corner of my E/C eyes, I saw Owen punching Hoskins.

Wait what!?

I pulled myself out of my drowsiness and I concentrated on what they were saying, but it wasn't clear.
My Alpha, the anger, it was a stench that made my stomach twist.

Something bad is about to happen. I can feel it.

I could see people run in, fully clothed in heavy armor that was black as the night. They made their ways toward Delta, Echo, Charlie, Blue and finally me.

They started to strap little cameras onto our heads and I wanted to shake it off. The discomfort it brought me, I hated it.

What's happening? An anxious feeling filled my chest, why are they doing this?

The stench of Hoskins flew past me and I purposely hit the metal wall with my leg as I growled. He didn't even flinch. He just stopped and gave me an evil smile, "I told you that you'd be in my little mission," And he just walked away.

The anxious feeling never left my chest. Everything was going so quickly, it was hard to register the scene that was happening around me.

I could see Owen kneeling down in front of Blue and Blue left out a low growl. I huffed in response.

"Shhh, you don't scare me", He whispered as he stared into Blue's eyes.

A feeling replaced the anxiousness in my chest. It felt heavy as I continued to stare over at Blue and Owen.

Maybe that's why Blue is our Beta. Owen trusts her more. But...I showed him that I trusted him... Why?

"Are they safe?"

I jumped at the voice, kicking the wall by accident and letting out a low screech. I noticed two humans were standing in front of us, but I didn't know who they were.

Owen walked quickly over to me, trying to calm me down.
But I left out a grumble.

"No... No they're not," Owen replied and he stared into my eyes. I stared back, my ignorant growling never leaving.

"What's their names?" The little human asked.

"That's Echo, that's Delta, that's Blue, Charlie and Y/N," He replied, pointing at all of us individually.

"And who's the Alpha?" The little one asked again.

"You're looking right at him," Owen said with confidence and I humbled, mentally rolling my eyes.
The little human smiled but they soon they got pulled away by a red haired girl.

The night grew silent again and Owen turned around to me. "I'll see you in a few, Y/N."
He gave my head a soft pat and he walked away, leaving us raptors alone.

Pressure.

I felt trapped.
I was placed into a small box but there was enough space to stand. The smallest bit of light shed through the gaps that were at the top of the door.

I was so confused, why am I here?

The smell of flesh wafted through the gaps and I couldn't help but cough. The smell... Another dinosaur?

A dinosaur that had greater strength, a dinosaur that was much more dangerous.

What kind of a dinosaur is this?

The sound of vehicles filled the air and I could make out more light.

Something was happening.
And I'm really anxious to find out.

And then it happened.

The doors swung open, I could see the other raptors running at top speed, and I froze for a second.

But I ran.

I took my normal formation when the raptors and I were hunting. I kept the same speed as Echo, as we ran side by side through the forest.

I dodged the fallen trees, the branches, the rocks and every other obstacle and I could feel the scent get stronger with every step.

Owen sped up on his motorcycle and he passed Echo and I out and he made his way up past Blue.

I stopped myself from passing out everyone and I just stayed on finding that scent as the anger got to me.

Stronger and stronger and stronger.

Blue let out a roar, signalling all of us to stop. I stopped suddenly, sniffing the air and we finally got the scent.

I left out a huff as I stood next to Blue. I made my stance tall, not knowing what was going to come out from behind the trees, but I kept my guard up.

And then it emerged.

A huge dinosaur emerged from the trees. Ghostly coloured scales as it blended in with the plants around it.

My stance fell and I took a step back.

This isn't a Tyrannosaurus Rex. Or any other normal dinosaur.

This was a monster.

Charlie quietly made her way behind me, hoping that she wouldn't be seen and I stood my guard, covering her.

And then it left out a deep grumble.

I tilted my head, not knowing what to do. And it grumbled again.

"Kill them... Kill them all. You're supposed to be free," She grumbled and I barked in response, "No! Our Alpha is there!"

She took a step forward and she made a growl.

She was our Alpha now.

"Blue, what about Owen?" I softly chirped and she snapped back, "Kill him!"

The anger from before came back to me. The feeling of not being Owen's favourite.

The feeling of Blue bullying me around.

The feeling of natural instinct took over, knocking all of my thoughts away. I felt like... I felt...

I felt free.

The loudest and deepest growl left my throat and I turned around, whipping my tail at a fast speed.

I took in all of the humans in front of them, all of them looking surprised.
The smell of fear filled the air and it was a fuel for me.

But one person caught my eye.

Owen.

The smell of fear radiated off his body and a sudden instinct filled my veins.

And I ran at him.
