SDM》A second chance (Completely Done)

((Sorry for not posting anything for a while. I just got back on track with drawing and all, and I would love to start writing again but...I got out of that and got back into drawing :\))

 My vision was slowly retreating. All I could remember was Steve and Alex voices screaming for help. I sat up quickly as a wet cloth was dipped on my head. I turned to see people all over me as they leaned in, studying me, wondering what I was. One of them touched my shoulder and slowly put me back down on the pillow. I didn't want to hurt anyone, not even a poor sole. I closed my eyes and tried to remember the good times with my friends and I. Bull bad dreams filled my mind with blood and people screaming in pain, reaching out for me with their bloody hands.

 I sat up, this time freaked out from the dream. No one was in sight but me and a bird that sat on the dresser. I pulled the covers off me and walked down the hallway with the bird following behind. "Alex..." I yelled. "Steve...guys were yo-" I slipped on a pile a water, falling on my butt. I stood back up, trying to ignore the pain going through my body. I have to find them and get out of here; I don't know who or what lives here and I don't want to know what happens here. I pulled the door open to see Steve laying on the bad, his eyes open, staring up at the ceiling. Maybe they’re here to help us?

 "Alex!" I hollered out again, but this time I got a different response.

 "She's not here, now leave..." I turned my head to another room, but darker with a bit of a scary touch to it.

 "Hello?" I mumbled. "Anyone he-" I got pushed to the floor by someone kicking my back.

 "Stand still and I won’t hurt you." I females voice spoke to me. I grabbed her foot and pulled her off me, watching as her body fell to the ground. She was wearing a white dress as her reddish blond hair flowed in her face. Her light blue eyes perked up at me with an evil, death stare, like she was saying "You'll regret that!" She moved quickly with her hair down in her face, but climbed walls and seemed to be like one of those people in the movies, you know, the ones that can do whatever they wanted and beat logic. Well, she belted into another room and shut the door.

 I stood, moaning as the pain grew on my back. That girl really can make a young boy feel old! I walked down the hallway, trying to forget about the pain...again. Walking down an old, dark and smelly hallway brought back old memories. Like the time when I and Deadlox were trapped in an elevator together for two weeks, with the smell coming off us really brought back bad memories. But I do miss Deadlox a lot. A nice boy with a kind heart who always stood up for me when I was in a bad situation. I snapped out of it by falling to the floor.

 I didn't know that girl who pushed me to the ground was still watching me. She slowly walked towards me with her left hand out. I felt a nice touch on my shoulder and turned instantly to see her there. "Please don't be afraid, I mean no harm. Sorry for knocking you on the ground." She scratched the back of her head. "Names Jess, they call me Jess instead." She grabbed my arm and pulled me up.

 "Thanks, but I don't need help right now. Did you see two people coming in with me?" I asked, she nodded and told me to stay low.

 "Four weeks ago, our town was invaded by strange people, who looked like zombies but was controlled by someone with long hair that flowed past his hips. Dark, torn up clothing that had blood stains all over him. And most of all, the most brutal thing was the powers he had to kill so many in one second. I stayed here to keep myself safe from any danger." She turned to hear a sound from the corner. "Hide!" She said, disappearing out of sight.

 "Hide from what?" I asked, but soon found out that what she meant would give me nightmares for a long time. Four men covered in blood from head to toe were walking down the hallway with equipment. They laughed at each other about a small girl who was lying on the bed, only half way dead. They killed her while she was asleep.

 "Maybe I should grab Alex and Steve and get out of here." Sky mumbled. "And the girl named Jess."
