Hello and welcome to How To Teen, a profile where you can give and find advice on various topics.
Are you a teenager and is your life not always going great for you? Have you got trouble at home, at school or in your head? Well, you've come to the right place! On How To Teen tips, advice and step-by-step plans will be given on how to deal with love, friends, your parents, all things school and so much more. Together, we will get through this exciting, yet chaotic teenage life!
The three words that best describe this channel are: positivity, advice and interaction.
♥ ♥ ♥
POSITIVITY: We offer constructive advice that is focused on improving a situation in a healthy way. We always support each other! You can disagree, of course, but always be respectful and focus on helping others instead of bringing them down.
ADVICE: This profile is filled to the brim with ADVICE. We're not telling you what to do, we're simply suggesting a couple of methods that could really help you out. Feedback is therefore very important, so don't forget to leave yours in the comments!
INTERACTION: This is a profile for you and therefore you help decide what gets posted and what doesn't. Leave your suggestions (see chapter "topic suggestions") in the comments, give feedback and submit topic-related books that you think belong in our reading lists. Loads of chapters will have interactive bits as well, like quizzes, little challenges and tasks, so I hope to see some participation! This is a group work!

This account is managed by @Alpaca-Lypse (profile lead), @adairx and @CrazyMeisie. I, Alpaca-Lypse (or Hannah, hello)am a Wattpad ambassador. That means that I do some volunteer work on the site. I'm part of the Engagement and Outreach team. That means that I reach out to new members in case they feel lost and I manage some official profiles and their reading lists (this is a Community Profile, not an official Ambassador Profile).
I do know the Wattpad audience pretty well and I have been a teenager myself (I'm only nineteen, I'm practically still a teenager), but I am in no way a professional. This account is to help people out by giving pieces of advice, but if you feel like that's not nearly enough and you're really struggling, please look for professional help. You can do that anonymously via www.teenlineonline.org , but there are many ways to find help. If you're not sure how to reach out, please leave me a private message and I'll look into it for you.
Be strong enough to stand alone, smart enough to know when you need help and brave enough to ask for it. Asking for help is not weak, it is a sign of strength.
In the following chapters of this book, we'll explain what the categories are, how you can leave suggestions, how you submit a book to be in a reading list and much more than that! I hope you have fun and that you find some guidance here. Maybe I'll see you in the comment section? ;)
Just remember, big spoiler here, everything is going to be okay.
